Maybe not too many people in HK drive m3
I do. I live in Taipo.
Way more C63 than E9x M3 in HK.
Agree, saw some C63 AMG in Guangzhou with HK license plate

It is because

1. Generally in HK, Merc outsells and has a better brand image than BMW.
2. The price of standard spec C63 from 2007-2010 was cheaper than E92 M3 by 20% and about the same as E90 M3 (without M-Drive, EDC and comfort access).
Never knew that before except Benz has a better brand reputation than BMW in the area. Thanks for the input :happyanim:

Yes, that's the reason, people here like Benz over BMW in general despite the Benz are the ones who always fail in the middle of the road and causing traffic jams!

In HKG, normally the majority of E9x M3 owners is uncle/mature man. But I know a few young dudes owning E9x M3s. On the other hand, I always see ladies driving their C63 to market with their maids or to school to pick up their kids.:happyanim:

Yeah thats weird. In US I can always see high school boys driving e92 m3 and young girls driving e93 m3. Also there are very few of them in HK. I have seen only couple times in hk when i go back in the summer

Come on, a M3 in the US costs less than a 330i in Hong Kong. With the money of a brand new M3 in HK,you could probably get a 997 Turbo S in the US.
I'm from hk but in the us
hk member checking in :D
reporting in....

There are actually many m3's at night driving on the highways
any members here going to the Eurocharged tune day on Sept 8th 2012, Eurocharged is flying in to www.mtxmotors.com to tune like 30 cars.. should be a great turn out
