:happyanim:Alright people, this is the big 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY of the 818 meet!:happyanim:

Hard to believe it's already been a year! Might as well do something special and go big for this meet! We're going to be hitting up Gaucho's Village in Glendale. Come Hungry! This is all-you-can-eat Brazilian BBQ! :D

Meet Here: Topanga Promenade by Macy's (Google Maps)

Destination: Gaucho's Village (Google Maps)

The plan:
1. Meet up
2. Responsible cruising to dinner
3. Eating and good times!
4. Plan the next meet!

:party0048::party0048::party0048:

If anyone wants to just meet us directly at the restaurant, then please do the more the merrier! We should be getting there at around 8ish. Spread the word all auto enthusiasts are welcome!

Feel free to call me if you plan to come but may run late.
So who's coming?
Hmm, I'd like to go. :)
I had my 335 and Q5 tinted at the place on vineyard towards saticoy. The q5 was only like 120 or something for all windows except windshield and the 335 was just a bit more for all including windshield. They did a great job too. You guys know anyone looking for a studio apt? I have one available in a few weeks in riverpark it's really nice and has everything even it's own washer and dryer.

Sup Jamie90m3!!! Ye, still kinda waiting for the property manager to get back to me whether they will kick the previous owner out or not. Will find out this week. But honestly, so many spaces are open for lease and couple spot I found looks very nice :)
Very true. Lots of space open so you can leverage that and negotiate any lease quote. You are probably already doing this but you can check online (yelp?) to see how good the local Japanese food is in different areas. Maybe there isn't any in the area at all...You can also find out via google maps how close your place is to local businesses, a steady lunch crowd can help steady your income and can, itself, generate a dinner patrons. By using clever lunch combo advertising, the 8-5 workers will come

Hann @ STM helped train the main guy @ Premiere. I can get you a better deal at STM if you want it. lemme know.

also to learn a bit more about tint... my buddy John just made an excellent post: CLICK HERE

i know a few guys that attend upwards of 12+ track days a year and switch out every track day. :confused2

its that IC Micro Nano black tint... some kind of bomb shit i guess. its the kind that was in the Audi R8 page recently!
yeah, that's definitely Premiere Mobile Group... lol. They charge an arm and a leg but the quality of work is great. Trained by the best and now doing some of the best work.

Just take it to STM for Huper Optik. $650 is something you pay to tint your whole house not just a car. In korea that is

Han @ STM is awesome.

For real, at drift events many guys switch 6-8 times a day, sometimes more. Granted its just the rears but still, not too bad with a nice jack. I will say however bmw's lug bolts are retarded. The first time I changed wheels on my bmw I was like wtf, what asshole thought balancing this wheel and threading a bolt or getting the stupid alignment pin thing out was better than studs!?
This is what I was doing this weekend. Aside from cleaning out the whole garage. I feel like I was run over by a bus. But it was all worth it.:happyanim:

A little bit of this...

Are you wanting to replace speakers in the car? Or just add some bass?

heck yeah! that's why i got some 90mm studs put in and use my Kics R40s. Make it sooooooooo much easier to switch things out. I can swap out my rears by myself in about 10minutes or less.

Then again, i think that's the fun of racing. Getting dirty, working on the car the night before and the day of the event, racing, and getting the car back home. :D

Well my problem is I'm physically unable to do the change myself.

I figured this out the hard way with my 335i.

also, when I mentioned 6 track days, that's 6 track days in 2 months.... much different than 12 in a year...

If I was able to change them myself, I would do it. But I have to take it to a shop and pay $20 each damn time.
Sticker city I think is around $260.

So what I am hearing is that you want to add some bass. I would go this route first and then if the mids and treb, dont hold up to the better bass then you can replace those.

Or you can just replace it all at the same time, but you are talking 1k easy... I want to do some research on what you have. Is it just the base stereo? Or upgraded but not the premium? What do you have?

Sounds like you need a jack and lug wrench!

also is that 260 including the front wind.?
I did not do front windshield. Are you planning on doing that? I think you'll get busted pretty quick out here...

I have a low profile jack, couple of lug wrenches, torque wrench, jack stands.... etc...

I'm physically unable to do it cause of my back.

I can lift stuff just fine using my legs, but if my back comes into play, I have to be very very careful.
I have a hairline crack in my 4th vertebrae... I can do 1-2 changes, but anymore and my back starts to hurt like no other :/
