2011 E90 M3 build thread

As some of you may know, I sold my 2008 E92 M3 in July and ordered one of the last E90 M3 sedans ever to be made. My production was set for August and my delivery date is sometime this week. Before I sold my E92, I attended my first track event and got totally hooked, so expect this car to be a little less show and more go this time around

Instead of making various threads about the modifications that I will do to the car, I decided to just make this build thread and update it with pictures as I go along. Phase 1 mods are already here waiting for the car. Phase 2 and 3 will come shortly knowing me.

2011 E90 M3 | Interlagos Blue | Speed cloth | 6MT | stripped

1. KW sleeve over kit
2. AG M359 silver wheels. 19x10 on 265/35/19 Continental Extreme DWS
3. ACM exhaust mod with titanium tips
4. Turner test pipes
5. OEM Performance gloss grills
6. IND gloss black fender grills
7. OEM Performance wheel

Read a few threads about this and wanted to try it out. There's a few ways people have modded these. Some just pulled out the stuffing in the middle can and wrapped the perforated pipes. Others welded in pipes in place of the perforated ones. We went with another method. Pictures below.

This is what the left and right cans look like inside if you've never seen them. They criss-cross thru the center of the muffler.





We cut out the pipes and re-directed the Y-pipe straight thru bypassing the center of the can.





Last step is to weld on the titanium tips and throw it on the car..



Painted it black..

Yeah man, I was just waiting for someone to snatch my ZCP wheels so I can get these, didn't want 3 sets of wheels at once

Thanks Rob, I'll rock the BBS CH's for a month or 2.. I wouldn't mind some 19x10 square Strasse Forged wheels.. with Interlagos centers and polished lips?
