E92 M3 Assesory Question (grills/carbon fibre mirror cap)

Hey everyone,

I've been looking to do some cosmetic mods onto my new 2011 E92 M3 LeMans Blue with Black Interior.

I've been looking for:
Side grills,
Front Grills,
Carbon Fibre mirror cap.
Side Reflectors

I know the IND and other brands have them, and BMW Performance Assesories also has some of these items.

Any recommendations? I am located in Vancouver BC.

IND has great products and service. Be prepared for UPS to fist you at your door though. I have their grills, gills and painted reflectors.

I was able to get IND to ship the sidemarkers and reflectors via USPS. I didn't have to pay any of those ridiculous fees, and lucked out and didn't have to pay duties either.

Just ask IND to ship via USPS, and have it in writing.


Most vendors are accomodating this way, others are dead against it. So, you know which ones get my business!!

Simple. Call the guys at IND (www.ind-distribution.com), place your order and just ask them to send the items via USPS.

USPS is usually good, UPS is the one that likes to charge duties

Order from IND. They are reliable. I just got a shipment from them yesterday and got slapped with taxes and fees at the door because of UPS. Ship it via USPS, it takes a bit longer but worth it.

I wasn't joking when I recommended IND Ed!

Just order IND. There is no comparison. Check my threads for the nightmare I went through with Bimmian (same reflectors as most of the other guys as well).

PM Nate@IND and get the Cosmetic Kit (reflectors, grilles, side markers). They will paint match them and it looks awesome.. much better than flat black. They also have the Edition kit (which is a carbon fibre kit for $100 more I believe). Ask for USPS shipping.

My LMB with IND parts - nice colour choice by the way.

Moe. Good luck with the side grills on the sedan. They're a real PITA. Choose your own poison in the DIY section. Apparently through the wheel well is the easiest. Here's a pic with some SSII and matte black IND parts. IND FTW!

I had no problems at all with the side grilles. The tape DIY is the best one. Worked like a charm. This is the DIY to use.

can't wait to change over to gloss black...been dying to see SSII with the black, not many of those either.

I watched a video from bimmian, looked straight forward I thought...
