New design from Apex?

Wasn't a new design from Apex supposed to be dropping around now? I need new tires and was thinking about going square (meaning I'll need new wheels). The ARC-8's look tempting, but I'd like to see what the new design is like before pulling the trigger.

It's coming...supposed to release photos in about a month and that was a month ago.

I like Apex's products but don't want to get a 3rd set of the same wheels...I also want to see the new wheel design.

The Aero 7 for the one series looks nice. I could see it on a M3....in black. Whatever they come out with, I'm looking forward to it.

The aero wheels are very similar to the ARC8s. I can't imagine how many ARC8s APEX has sold! But time to move on. I like a design similar to the TSW Interlagos, Kosei, or a 6 spoke with thick spokes similar to the TE37s.

We were supposed to receive prototypes this week, but that was pushed back to next week as additional units were produced simultaneously which will be shipped to Japan for VIA crush testing. There will be an official announcement once they arrive.

In for more info on the new arc/aero design:thumbsup: On a side note will there be a price reduction on the existing arc-8 wheels once the new ones become available?????

Will they be offered in 18's that fit my brakes?

We are unveiling the new design this month. When we have the necessary content to post an official thread will be created.

Our specialty is fitment, and this new design will reflect that in the volume of widths/offsets and improved features available. We are not just bringing over one sample to photograph. We've created over a dozen unique sizes to test fit on vehicles, and they are all coming over with more to follow later.

Due to the volume of sizes that are being expedited we are dealing with logistical issues that are out of our control. All prototypes have been complete since my previous post and they could have been here this Friday but air freight shipments were overbooked.

We are already using the quickest, expedited shipping and are paying appreciably more so we can receive these prototypes as soon as possible. We will keep you up to date on the progress.

The new wheels will be here soon and we look forward to unveiling them.

I just pulled the trigger on a set of ARC-8's. They're a solid value (unique, even?), and they are proven. Since I need wheels soon, it seemed ridiculous to stress over whether the new wheels might be a little better and hit in time for me.

If I like the new wheels, I might get a set and use one or the other for street.

looking forward to seeing these new wheels!
