As the title says looking for pics of Akrapovic exhaust with Carbon tips on a Space Gray e90 M to compare it against titanium tips. I'm (finally) getting the Akra Evo but still undecided on what tips. I will appreciate any help. :)
I'd do the titanium if I were in your shoes. I think this looks perfect.

Yes, I saw that pic before (and forgot I did) and true, looks perfect. I should have requested carbon tips on space gray only. Thanks!!
Agree with SehrSchnell - search the photo section. I recently installed an Akra with CF tips on a MW e92 M3 and  the way the CF tips look!

Go to the photo section and look for Bob MG's car... he has an e90 with carbon fiber tips - looks amazing. Just did this myself, but mine is AW.
Well now I'm even more confused!! LOL!! I think there's no wrong answer. Both look awesome. I'll let you all know what I finally did (and of course post some pics).

Thanks!!
I have the titanium tips on jerez black, looks sharp. I've also seen the carbon fiber ones too. Wouldn't the titanium cost more to manufacture?

Also, I wondered if anyone knows about these tips getting stolen and suggestions from preventing this?

CF are more rare since they just started making those. I would def go with the carbon. Worst thing that could happen is that you don't like and trade for the titanium ones. I would be more than willing to trade ya!

Good to know!! Win-win scenario, I guess...

Don't know if you ended up finding a pic with the carbon tips OP. This looks ridiculously good too... Can't lose either way.

Thanks. That was the car SehrSchnell was referring to (post #4). I'm going with CF tips. Might take a bit more than expected, though (wife wants to do a few things to the house). Lol!
So finally tomorrow will get the Akra Evo installed. At last...
CF tips for the win.

GI, will you share the power upgrade with the Evo system (maybe already in a different post - joined today)? Super fan of the AK brand. Price worth it? I have the M3 exhaust that came with the car for 20 lbs savings and negligible power difference (no EFI change), if any at all. Thanks!

The HP gain with akra evo is very noticeable + a few more HP added by the tune and the nice stance without those bulky canisters from the OEM exhaust makes this exhaust system worth it all the way

Deleting the stock primary cats will give you the most power gains than any other single mod without going the FI route. Add to that an awesome sound and a 50 pound loss which is also nice and we are talking about a good deal, IMO. Unfortunately I have not dynoed my car, but it definitely feels faster.

Here's the link to my impessions on the Akra Evo. Feel free to ask any other questions you may have.
