Mike Benvo wroteFair enough, I guess that is the more noble thing to do...hehe...I'll post it sometime today when I have time. I should get to some of these emails.
Keep up the great work Mike.

I'm working on uploading everything as we speak. I'd say in the next couple hours I should have it ready. Sorry to everyone for slow reply on emails and PM's - existing clients are my first priority. I promise I will get to each and every one of them in the new few days.
ILSMKU wroteGiven 414 crank HP and 15% drivetrain loss, a stock M3 should theoretically put down 355ish hp to the wheels in stock form. The dyno operator told me that most of them dyno around 360ish horsepower on his dyno. It's a Dynapack, so it might read slightly higher given the rear tires and wheels are not on the car for the testing. We have 91 versus 93 which is also a consideration. A dyno expert would be able to give you a more definitive answer on this.Did I read that correctly? A stock M3 will make 375+ WHP? That seems high.
Mike Benvo wroteDamn, that's impressive!Thank you

Macky112 wroteTalk to mike benvoi have an 6MT '08 E93 M3 with no software updates, and am curious about the 231E/240E software update & tuning.
do we have an 231E/240E updated stock M3 (preferably E93 and 6MT) in the OC area I could ride with to compare with my car?

1sikbmr wroteMy dealer charged me and hour and a half ($170) of labor. I told them that I wanted the whole car reprogrammed. They have to reprogram everything and not JUST the DME itself.Bump for a question.
I want to do this to my 08. How much should a dealer charge? What should i ask for? How will i know what software i have now?
Thanks

1sikbmr wrotemy dealer charged an hour of labor.i just asked for a software update, they will give you the latest version.you'll know what you have when they plug your car into their computer.mine showed no updates from the original software,so it was an easy decision to to do it.Bump for a question.

tom @ eas wroteGood to know, thanks! I got mine updated in September. I wonder if it got the 240E software. I guess I would have to do some more digging. It won't be everything, just what the ISTA/P version provides updates for, based on your current SW version.
Some versions include more updates to modules than others.
