Put my Akra x-pipe on, finished tonight. Time for another meet! This thing rocks, noticeable increase in power and great deep sound, much more aggressive than just the rear section. Can only imagine what a tune might do.

I'd love to hear it! I'm getting close to decision time. Unfortunately I can't make the 1st as I'll be on my way to the Welt.

Yes, I ordered through Gebhardt. Won't be seeing it again until late January at best. Then clear bra, tint, some black grilles n gills, wheels to match (anyone wtb a set of P-Zeroes with about 2 miles on them?), and an exhaust. Which brings me to hearing your full evo! I hope I get the chance soon.

Jealous of the new ride! Let me know when you'd like to hear/drive it (should do both). I should be around this weekend, will be able to confirm that later in the week.

I'll be around the rest of the month. This weekend would be great! It's going to be a long wait for the car to arrive, but it will eventually and all of the sudden it will be time. I wish I could just check it with my luggage.

Nice ride! Love the speed yellow. Can't wait to get out and meet up with everyone.

The speed yellow does look nice, it's one of my favorite yellows.
Btw I'm Bryan and I have Akra Evo as well on my E90 in Colorado Springs. One day I'll come up to the Denver area and meet some other enthusiasts.

I'm strongly leaning towards Eisenmann Race, but would love to hear it in person.

The drone inside the car is pretty bad with only the Eisenmann race mufflers and a stock x pipe. Right at the 3k RPM mark.
Saint Van Rock is still stock exhaust wise. He needs to get on that! You'd think hearing mine would have motivated him to move out of the factory/hybrid M3 exhaust! Haha

I have the Eisenmann Race Black Series and I am more than willing to let you hear it. I absolutley love the sound (best sounding exhaust IMHO, and I have heard nearly every exhaust in person) but BMW135er is correct, you will have some drone at 3k. The sound trumps the drone for me though. The Black Series would look amazing with your speed yellow:thumbsup:

How much drone, would you say? Is it essentially gone at 2900 and 3100? I'm not generally concerned if it's narrow, and I don't expect to be doing freeway commuting in this car, but still. The MPE has two narrow bands of modest drone around 2300 and 3100, but not so much you can't talk or listen to music.

What kind of x-pipe would you suggest?
