Plugged my last 7 digits of my VIN (09/2012 build date) at BMWUSA's website and to my supprise a "recall" pops up for my vehicle. It states to either call my local dealer or their toll-free number for more information regarding the recall(s).
I just got my car back from it's 1500 mile fluid change and neither the SA (Good Guy), nor my paper work made any mention of a "recall" for my car.... looks like I will be giving BMW USA a call...............and paying the dealer another visit
I guess I'll be visiting BMWUSA's website on a regular basis.
I'll post the Recall number/issue once I find out....
EDIT: Didn't mean to cause a frenzy. Called my SA and he looked it up. Stated it was a NAV recall - nothing serious....WTF....I said, seriously? Why can't they just call non-critical updates as "Required Service Update". SA agreed but stated that all Recalls/Updates/Campaigns are classified as "Recalls".
