Which Individual Color Would You Pick?

Which Individual Color Would You Pick?
Santorini Blue 20.6% (39)
Hellrot 14.8% (28)
Speed Yellow 8.5% (16)
Frozen Monte Carlos Blue 14.8% (28)
Frozen Brilliant White 13.8% (26)
I'd save $5000 and get a standard color 27.5% (52)
Santorini Blue.........Too Much Like Montego
Hellrot...................Too Much Like Melbourne
Speed Yellow..........Nothing Like it on E9X........WIN
Frozen MCB............Soo 2010
Frozen Brilliant White......Same as above

IMO, if I am going to get a car with individual color and dish out $5K for it, I don't want it to look ANYTHING like the stock colors offered....

If you want a blue car, I would at least go for LSB.

For me Dakkar Yellow all the way :-)

That is EXACTLY the build I just researched last week with Francesca at Steve Thomas. Santorini / Cloth / ZCP / carbon leather / gloss-black everything else including wheels. Plus perhaps some extra Individual blue stitching.

The $5,000 deposit is a drag though.
lol yep, sent the check in this week. I wish I could have put in on the CC to at least get the 1% cashback! Ahh well, I'll only put $1500 down so the way I see it Steve Thomas is going to give me $3500 cash for mod money at signing.

Sounds like you have superb taste btw ;)

It certainly makes a statement!
Still one of my favorite cars on this site. Plus you'd be the first factory T.V (that I know of anyway). As someone said, if you are going to go Individual, it might as well be different from anything that is out there!

Out of those choices, Hellrot (Imola Red would be great too) or Frozen MCB.

However, if it's at all possible, the color I'd really really want if I went Individual would be Techno Violet. It's unique, but definitely not too flashy. Please for the love of all that is holy pick TV. Pretty pretty please
My choice too.

Techno Violet/Bamboo leather
I would save my money, but then again, I like the stock colors well enough. I would go Alpine White or Jerez Black. Of the ones you listed, I definitely like the Frozen MCB the best.
I have a Santorini Blue M3 going into production in 2 weeks. :happyanim:

Talking to Checa last night this past 6 months have shown some awesome color combo's being delivered and ordered! Really cool!

just to name a few, Frozen MCB, Frozen White, Signal Green, Santorini, Dakar, Frozen Grey, Frozen black, MCB, Fire Orange (quite a few of these), this is just a few in the past few months! There was a couple others as well.
How many different wraps over time could you get for $5,000?
Yellow is not a modern day BMW color IMO. Hellrot is great but not that individual. Frozen white or techno violet looks great and draws the right amount of attention.
Hellrot looks great!

Of your alternatives, I think Hellrot and Speed Yellow will survive 10 years the best... Red and Yellow are both classic "sports car" colors. The Hellrot M3 is just magnificent

...and shiny MCB is 10x nicer than Frozen....

didnt see save 5000 as an option which is what i would choose.
:word:

If i had to veto one, i would veto Hellrot. There's no way I'm paying $5000 for another shade of red that looks like any other red... just sayin'. Same goes with the blues and other shades of colors you can already buy without going individual...

I've seen orders for TiAg, and I'm like " 'fo real?! ", it looks nowhere as nice as Silverstone, it's an old E46 M3 color made to look like any other silver Toyota or Honda out there, and it's not even a unique M color as it can be ordered in other models.

OP if you want unique, go with green, or pink, or purple, or Fire Orange, or go with a frozen color, but aren't frozen colors +$7500?

At the end of the day, what's wrong with Silverstone Metallic or Jerez Black, it is very uniquely M. (outside a few special edition 3-series cars released in Europe last year)

I have only seen that one picture of Sophisto Grey, If there was a daylight photo shoot of it I would have considered it but I feel like the lighting in that picture makes it a poor representation of what the color would look like from day to day.
Thanks for all the replies everyone, you have definitely brought up valid points to ponder

Ha, Sophito Grey looks nothing like that in real life. From really far away (and in low light conditions), you could mistaken it for a black car. Up close, it's just a dark gunmetal. I really like it a lot actually.

Yeah then you run into the same argument as Hellrot, I might as well get Sparkling graphite

As a Sparkling Graphite owner, I'd agree with you. But there's a much bigger difference between Sophisto Grey vs Sgraph, than Hellrot vs let's say Melbourne Red.

Sophisto is significantly darking than Sgraph. IMHO, it doesn't warrant the $5k though.
