If you just had the worst service experience of your life (and I did), would forum members want to know the dealership, especially NY area? I'm hesitant to do so but a part of me feels like it's my duty to tell people so they don't get beat up like I did from incompetance and straight up sleazy business practice.

Long Island Dealer...Habberstad Bayshore....I just checked their online reviews (which I should have done before hand)....they have so many bad service reviews, I don't think they even give a shit anymore. I should have walked away when they quoted me $400 for a straight up oil change. Below is my story if anyone cares to read. What's not included is that on my last visit they ran out of rental cars, had to wait 30 mins for a shitty Hertz Mazda that I had to pay insurance on and when replacing the fuel pump for the second time on the M3 they charged me for a half a tank of fuel to top off even though I had just filled the tank the night before. They did not provide a receipt for gas they supposedly filled.

Must have little cow bells mixed in with the shit if it is from the brown or grizzly bear (I recall some said if you go into the woods carry little cow bells the will scare the bears away) :D

yes, generally, most members relay experiences in their regional sub-forums and it gets discussed with keen interest. when you write it in the main fourm, unless it's something so horrible, most people would just shrug...
That dealer cant be worst thaN BAYSIDE.

I so agree with you on that +1000

In my business life we made a quality review of sub vendors, they had to qualify before they earned our business. That should be the way with car dealerships ... then I think they do not care at all as long as there cars roll of the assembly line.

Some dealerships should not carry the BMW logo as there business front. It gives the good dealerships a bad name. Thanks God that there are more good ones then bad ones to choose from!
