I had recently asked the question about tracking my M3 through the production cycle and somebody (different forum) gave me this link http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=805876. IMO, the OP did a great job in putting this together. Perhaps it will be a benefit to others for the same reason.

My favorite tracking tip is using the pause feature (entered by pressing the +*# button) on an iPhone (or similar) to automate the Production Status dialing sequence (website was always lagged).

Enter the following as a contact:

(800) 831-1117,,2,,Prod#,1
or;
(800) 831-1117,,2,,Last7VIN#,2

If that's not clear this should help.

I'm a week or two ahead of you. My M3 completed production on 3/13 and from what I can tell is still waiting on a boat. This is the worst part. I'm hoping it got on one this week, but I'm not sure yet. If not, maybe next week at worst. It's hard knowing your M3 is built and is sitting in a parking lot in Germany waiting on a boat. I'm ready to be driving it already! Congrats on your build...looks like a beauty!

Mine was arrived at the port today and is waiting for a boat. No idea when it be on board. I know there is a Vessel named Mignon departing Germany on 3/27. Hopefully it takes her with it.

I am, but my production doesn't end until Monday. Unless you end up on a boat this weekend, we may wind up on the same ship.

Thanks! Congrats to you also. Production was officially completed as of yesterday March 22nd. Hope your car made it on a ship already. Check with your SA to find out exactly where your car is:cool!:

It took 3 days from the factory to the port of exit. Hope there aren't many cars ahead of mine.

Looks like the next ship out for the West Coast will be the Bess, departing Tuesday, April 2nd. American ports of note include:

Baltimore, MD (April 15)
Brunswick, GA (April 17)
Charleston, SC (April 18)
Port Hueneme, CA (May 1)

I just finished production and am hoping to make it in time. Bess sounds like a big girl so she should have plenty of room on board

Cool, the -800 number update is still saying that my "production is complete and I'm awaiting release to the carrier." Hopefully it's already on its way to the port.

I think getting on the BESS is a good chance for the majority of us that finished production end of last week!

I'm sure it's on the way. I think that status might be the next step from where I am at since just yesterday mine said it was in the body shop.

That's what I'm hoping for. Mine arrived at the port last Thursday (missed on Honor), and the Mignon is departing tomorrow, due in Charleston on 4/16. Maybe we'll be on the same boat!

I've officially finished production and am waiting at the port for the next ship.

Looks like there are a lot of us in the same boat - figuratively, and hopefully, literally.
