Cronus leader seems to be missing...:confused2...No update from the last 4+ days.....:mad0260:
This is common, as the ship goes out of range from time to time. Don't worry about it. The best way to verify whether your vessel is still on schedule is via the Wallenius Wilhelmsen website. Just type in the ship's name and look at the estimated port arrivals. They will be continuously updated even while the ship is out of AIS range on all other sites.
My M3 is also on the way!
As of yesterday my vehicle was still at the port of exit. Just over 3 weeks of idle time. Accordingly, the sales mgr will be making calls today. Hopefully I will receive some good news.....hopefully.
just talked to the guy my car is on the mijon (spelling? ) should be in jersey on the 16th then he said it will take a week to get here :mad0259:

Glad that worked out for you.
Just checked the wll site and the Mignon seems to be on schedule. Hoping to have the car before Memorial Day weekend. I never thought the wait would be so agonizing as it has been...I'm sure everyone here feels the same way.
My CA just emailed me and said:

Your M3 left Germany aboard the “Sagittarius Leader” yesterday! It’s scheduled to reach California, the first stop, on or about the 7th on next month. You can track the progress of the ship at: http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/datasheet.aspx?datasource=SHIPS_CURRENT&alpha=A&level0=200. It takes me a little time to find sh-tuff but I’m sure you’ll have no problem with it. For me, I think there is just too much information. I’ll scan over a copy of our tracking sheet in just a bit.

Only sat at the docks a couple of days!
As of today, my M3 is listed as "in transit". Will check with dealer today to see if I can find out what ship it is on.

Any news?
Found out I am on the Temesis. Scheduled to arrive in Baltimore on 5/19.
Cronus Leader, with my baby on board, only now going through the Panama canal after leaving Germany over 18 days ago. Shown here entering and then exiting the Miraflores locks. Due in Oxnard June 24 at Port Hueneme. These boats only travel 14-15 kt !! :sigh:

+1

Has to be May. The Sagittarius Leader left Germany on May 9th and is expected in CA at Port Hueneme on June 7th. Its currently out of range of most tracking sites - currently off the central coast of Portugal heading to Panama. Supposed to arrive in Panama on 5/23/13. Based on this its about a 2 week trip from through the canal to Port Hueneme. Although seems like it should only take a week or so from the Canal to Port Hueneme. May take some time to get in line and wait for you turn to go through the Canal.
CodeBlu - How did you track your delivery ship through the locks? I want to do the same with Sagittarius Leader

Actually, yes it is due in port May 24th (not June 24th) - it just seems like this is taking forever!!! I have things to do to my ride....so Captain of the Cronus Leader step on the gas pedal...please.
I spoke with both the Sales Mgr and CA today. The two words that I'll use are cautious optimism. Accordingly, BMW has committed to load my vehicle on the vessel departing on Tuesday. Further committing that it will be at the dealership by the first week of June.

Due to the inconvenience caused by the delay, BMW has offered me an accessory at no-charge. Therefore I'll be getting a carbon fiber rear spoiler installed at the VPC.

I suspect somebody might post "you should've asked for the performance exhaust", that, IMO, would be a bit extreme. In the end, I just want my vehicle.

Kudos to my dealer, being Tulley BMW, working as my advocate and addressing the issue. Four of so weeks until I take possession.
Congrats NHman.
Best news and ending I have seen on this site for the last week.

You can track your ship via www.marinetraffic.com. Find your ship in their search engine and then click on your ships current location. It will then give you a map (google-like) where it is located. Some updates when at sea are only every few days. When it gets near the canal things slow down and you can easily track its course through the canal. You can log on to www.pancanal.com for live cam shots of the action as it occurs. Pretty cool actually to see the locks in action.
Mine is in Cronus leader....I think its the slowest of them all..:mad0259:.Looked at port of Hueneme arrival schedule..should arrive on May 24th...since there is a long weekend, I don't know how long it will take to arrive at San Diego dealership....

First of all, congrats! Glad to hear it's coming.

Second, did you consider the Electronic Performance Steering Wheel? It's possibly the single greatest factory option in my opinion.

So glad to hear they are taking care of you - if it was me - I would have gone for the gusto and asked for the exhaust - all they could say is "no"

Looks like you will have your car well before I get mine - great news for you.

I think all these "Leader" ships are the same class RORO car carrier and travel at about the same speed depending on currents and weather. It has to go through the prep center before it gets trucked down to the dealer. My guess is that it will take close to a week.
