Throttle Actuator fault P0638

If that was your first failure / warning side, usually a simple engine restart corrects the issue and you won't be in limp mode. Maybe you tried this, just a late suggestion incase bank 2 goes out sometime! I got the code a few times and always restarted to get out of limp mode.

Right, I've restarted several times but the limp mode came back w/in minutes. So I've gotta standby for Bank 2....here we go again.

Gotcha. I am waiting for #2 to go as well since #1 happened about 5k miles ago...

My bank 1 is acting up which I will get replaced next week. Should I expect bank 2 to fail shortly after? These parts shouldnt be wear items..should last life of vehicle
