Hey Everyone,

A few of us over on the 3 series side had talked about getting together for a weekly/monthly meetup, basically like cars and coffee but instead just us BMW guys to avoid problems like they had over in Charlotte. I figured I'd start this to gauge interest and get things started. What I'm thinking is we can have it where I work, its right near the RDU airport off Glenwood. We have plenty of parking and a pretty solid collection of cars ranging from classics to modern cars, mostly BMW's. Here's a shot of some of our showroom:

I can provide coffee and food for everyone so lets get this discussion going and get a date and time set, feel free to share this on other forums too so we can get the word out! Hope to see you all at an event soon
hi dave
Hey Bret, get down here for a meet!
Hello dave,
ill be down there in a few months(fort bragg) but ill bring the ///M crew with me to stop and say high. Are you a shop?
^Sounds good man! I run a small dealership that has a pretty nice collection of classic cars as well that we just use for show.
Sounds like a great idea. I would definitely be interested.

What is the name of your dealership?
Would be very interested. Showroom looks great! One of your inventory takes me back to my first Bimmer back in college days, a '73 Tii. Just let me know when and where for the get together.
I'm down too if the timing works out.
what problems did they have in Charlotte ?
Mustang lost control trying a burnout and hit a fire hydrant. They lost the venue and the event is dead (at least for now). There were issues with people doing burnouts/etc at prior events:

thks for the answer. I didn't know car 'n' coffee meetings were so nationally widespread. Though it seems inevitable that incidents like this would happen at non brand restrictive meetings. because of rivalries and oversized egos some dumbass will do sth like that.
