FYI thus motor isn't installed in an e90 and the ECU has been flashed to run stand alone.

So on the dyno the other day the motor throws code 2B57- emergency program. Getting an associated code of 2B16- throttle valve actuator control monitor bank 2. By research this means to change the bank 2 throttle actuator which I did. Didn't solve issue. Swapped the TPS for bank 2 and the new (used) one threw a code. So swapped in another one- back to same issue with bank 2 actuator and limp mode. Swapped actuators between banks and sort of expect the problem to flip to bank 1, but it doesn't.

Right now I have 4 codes. 1) CDBE- idling speed control valve CAN message bank 2 (I can't get rid of this code even with clearing codes), 2) 2B16, 3) 2B57, and 4) 2AFE voltage at terminal 87

Thoughts? Please?
Still using the stock idle control valve? The iacv has caused throttle valve codes on some members' road cars in the past, theory being that since they all interact to control air flow the throttle actuators can go out of range due to the icv not working properly

How do I "conduct EDR electronic throttle control system test". Probably need a better version of INPA.

Which plugs are these? "Check plug and wiring harness at DKG2 and EDR2"? Assume one is the throttle actuator, the other is probably the TPS?
Not the ICV. New one made no difference.
this may be a shot in the dark but you might need to change the manifold absolute pressure sensor.
Where is the MAP sensor?

Issue is my detective skills. Was told to ensure the throttles were moving smoothly...I just didn't pay enough attention to how far they were opening. The engine hoist hook behind cylinder 8 was bent over not allowing full motion of the throttles. Bent it back and all is good. Spins the tires in 3rd no problems.
New one made no difference.

Why the engine hoist hook was bent? I have the same issue... 2b16 and 2b57... But it seems that my throttle actuators are good... Error appeared at first time under WOT... Now I read your message and do not know how your engine hoist hook can be bent by itself?

The motor isn't in a car.
It's sitting on a motor stand.
To get there, they most likely used the hoist points.

That's how hey can get bend.

Exactly. They bend very easily.
