Last month my CEL came on the code show bad o2 sensors or an exhaust leak, while i was at a local muffler shop they check my test pipe and clamps which wasn't leaking but there a slight leak coming from my megan exhaust where the clamps are (very cheap clamps). I was wondering if the member running Megan exhaust did you change out the clamps for better ones and if so can you provide me with a link so i can order a pair of clamps.

Planning on changing out my o2 sensors and change the clamps at the same time

The clamps are one of the weak points of the Megan, other than that an excellent exhaust for the money. A exhaust leak that far down the exhaust path is not going to kick off the CEL for bad O2 sensors. I had this code as well kick off on my 2011 M3 and it was a bad rear 02 sensor. What code are you actually getting?

Hey Dave,

yeah the cause of the CEL are both my front o2 sensor are dead, i had my buddy do a live scan and check the sensor but its not responding he said.

my car was throwing 273A code and thanks to regular guy he check the code for me http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=928325&page=3

Both fronts died at the same time? Just be sure you don't twist the 02 sensors, alot of installers like to twist them instead of putting them into the test pipe then clip them to the harness.

Both the fronts o2 sensor wiring has been twisted up pretty bad, lets just say i won't go back to that muffler shop again.

Just gonna wait for the new clamps to come in and change them both out, just place the order from Jegs
I'd just replace the clamps with proper 2- or 3-bolt flanges. Those things aren't very reliable in the long term, regardless of who makes them.
I replaced the garbage bolts that came with my Megan but once I did that, the provided clamps were just fine. I've got about 5000 miles with the exhaust and the clamps still looked exactly as they were when I installed the exhaust. (recently changed my oil so I made a point of it to give the car a good look since I was under it anyways)
