I wanna get a front lip, I've narrowed it down to the mode carbon V1 or challenge gt, car is e92 melbourne red and already has the challenge race diffuser.

What do you guys think?
Vendors any deals going on right now on any of these?
TIA guys!!!
Can't go wrong with either

I think challenge
I'm leaning more towards mode carbon
mode carbon, less headache and looks more oem

Challenge GT ...the mode carbon does not go to the wheel wells so it look unfinished to me. Looks good don't get me wrong, just the Challenge looks better IMOP.

Unsure what "headache" refers to ...fitment? Cause if there is a problem with fitment, go for the mode carbon...cause fitment is a really annoying to get right. I know I bought the ARKYM...finally got it looking like a want it after adjusting it for a month.

sorry, i was referring to how much easier it is to scrape the lip
the v1 gives you great clearance
I have no problem with clearance with mine, so I am guessing they are all approximately the same from that aspect. Go Challenge IMOP...
Consider cost too, if you think they both look good than go with the lower cost one...I think challenge is making theirs in urethane so it will be around 500 bucks. They have a thread you probably already saw...that looks really interesting!

same reason I went with another brand, Exotic tuning, I would go with Challenge since you already have their diffuser
The Mode Carbon GTS lip will have more clearance than the challenge lip. The OEM GTS lip doesn't extend to the edge of the bumper and the MC GTS lip is a replica, therefore it doesn't either.
Mode Carbon V1 gets my vote. Flows really well with the lines of the car IMHO. FYI, I didn't even buy one from them (I bought mine used and damaged from forum member) and they are still super cool guys. Just IMHO and I'd like to think I'm not bias because I've got all different companies all over the car (MC lip, OEM CF lip, Forecewerkz skirts, Arkym diffuser :bellyroll)

And this is a great view of how high the lip is and how far they stick out. Personally, I prefer the lip that doesn't extend too far from the bumper:

My car was lowered .5" and the Challenge lip scraped everywhere. It was bad. It finally comitted suicide. I haven't thrown it away yet because I'm stubborn and I think I can repair it and paint it black. Looks wise it is my favorite for the E9X since it wraps end to end.

I have the Mode GTS lip and it's clearance is way better. IT still scrapes from time to time, but that's only going from ramps to level streets. But no where near as bad as the Challenge.
Mode!!!

Thanks! Yea you'll be really happy with the MC lip, it's a great piece and everyone that's seen it IRL loves it. It'll provide great contrast with Melbourne Red IMO
MC for sure... Challenge is a great looking lip but you will scrape everywhere. Mode gives plenty of clearance...

Yeah, thanks for posting guys. I was gonna get the V1 alone but for a few more bucks one can get the V2 which includes the extra lip extension just in case. If I decide it's too much I can always install it without the extension. Correct me if I'm wrong guys.
went with modecarbon and super happy with it.
