Apex 10" Front 10.5" Rear

I think I'm going 265/35 Fronts and 295/30 Rears. Unless I saw a picture of apex wheels with 275/35-295/35 I wouldnt risk them being too big.

As for tyres I'm think now since they are back in stock il go for Michelin cups

Allows you to rotate front to back as well as side to side.

You're gonna regret 265F & 295R with those rim widths. The front will look stretched and the rear will look blocky/square.

Iv seen someone run these and dont look bad. If some one has pictures of 275/35 and 295/35 id be happy to go with that just dont want to spend the money for a tyres that aren't quite right.

They only come in 1 offset unless you go with 9.5s, ARC8 Sizes:

18x9.5" ET62
18x9.5" ET35
18x9.5" ET22
18x10" ET25
18x10.5" ET27


They have narrow wheels too, but I excluded those.

No one has tried it afaik. Or atleast I couldn't find much. I think the 10.5 et27 may have inner clearance problems for some coilovers type setups, I really want to try a set to see how close they would be, it's definately not the tried and tested setup. Sometimes pushing the boundaries can be made to work with some tweaking but it's not for everyone.

I've been running MPSS 285/35/18s on Apex EC-7 with ET25 offset on all four conrners for years. Results: Neutral steering, easy to rotate, with front camber at -3*, it allows more even treadwear after rotation etc. Car is used as DD and Track Day car.

If you are looking for impressive rubber at the rear, you can find wider wheels and rubber.

Feel free to call the guys at BimmerWorld they know what fits - I think they may have told me I could go to 10.5 up front, but as another post mentions, it may interfere with other components if you upgrade (i.e. coilovers).

Front Apex acr-8 10" et25 - 275/35r18
Rear Apex arc-8 10.5" et27 - 295/35r18

I will be putting on 5mm spacers to stop the rubbing on the inner spring perch cause im getting Kw clubsports. So the final offset will b 20/22. Heres hopping they wont rub .....

Does anyone know if this will rub?

Yes, many run the 18x10.5 et27 on all four corners. In this case the 10.5 is used instead of the more common 18x10 et25 in effort to gain more sidewall support for R-compounds. Popular r-compounds used with this setup are 275/35/18 NT01's or 285/30/18 Hankook TD's. The only requirement is camber plates so that you can dial in negative camber. You shouldn't be running r-compounds without negative camber anyways, so think of it as complementary goods.

KW's variant series and clubsport coilovers will not be friendly for the 10.5 square fitment, and that is due to inner strut clearance up front.

Tire sizes look good, and yes, 5mm spacers will be required for proper strut clearance due to the fact that your running KW clubsports.

Your final offsets will be et20 / et27, as you only need to run the 5mm spacers up front. The rear offset will go unchanged.

It does not make sense, it is only necessary up front for inner clearnce. Your rear will already be very flush with 295/35/18's and you will likely rub with 5mm spacers.

This is giving me a major head ache. Everyone in the uk is saying run 265/35 F and 295/30 R. BUT all you guys say run 275/35 F 295/35 R .... Aaaaaaahh

That is because the gentleman on the other side of the pond like to run Michelin Pilot Sport Cup's, and they only come in the 30 sidewall. Technically these sidewalls are to short in terms of overall rolling diameter.

The proper size is absolutely 275/35/17 front, 295/35/18 rear. You can also run the 285/35/18 rear if you choose.

If you were doing 9.5" front wheels, then I would say go to a 265/35/18 front. With 10" front wheels, you should go with 275/35/18.

Yes, 295/35/18 will rub with 10.5 +22 wheels (volks).
