redpriest wrotewe need more in B2.I just ordered some Swift Spec-R springs.
I can't do full coilovers without getting reclassed into B2 with my mods, so this will have to tide me over until next year. These springs are a "free" modification, and I'm hoping with spring rates of 279 lbs/in in the front (160 lb/in stock M3), and 670 lbs/in for the rear (550 lb/in stock) will make a noticeable difference. I'm not expecting miracles, just something that will help me put the power down sooner in a corner.
Also ordered a Fall Line Motorsports tow strap with a tow-hook cover with a slot for the strap. Someone swiped (or it fell off somehow on the drive down to Chuckwalla) my tow hook cover so I have a gaping hole in my bumperI went to remove it on Saturday and it was already gone. Wtf!
Talked with my shop about getting an upgraded oil cooler + radiator, maybe with some custom ducting, to attack my cooling problem. Going to do that first before tackling the DCT cooler, maybe this will be enough. Shop talked about perhaps mounting better ducting or a fan on the DCT cooler, before upgrading.
I don't know how my car a family sedan with only coilovers and clubsports is in a class with the same car with up to TDs and BBK. Now I need those.
TD's will be my next set of tires.
More pics and passenger side has started.
M3 Number 86 wroteHardwired it into the CANBUS, player! I originally went OBDII (wife got me the OBDII kit originally), but that's kinda useless. You using obd or hardwire to canbus?

The HACK wrote+1. Run them until they cord then a bit more. Those are considered "fresh" by some...Nitto NT01s grip until corded. No reason not to run them.
I dismounted a set like that when I mounted my "new to me" Maxxis RC1s, and my mechanic was like "dude are you going to toss that? Can I have it?" I exchanged them for free mounting/dismounting.

at least that's what it looks like when i drive by LOL
that's probably what they are thinking....wtf a sedan?! or no way that thing has to have power mods....
redpriest wroteI have a video in chuckwalla where I dive bombed you trying to keep up with a mustang with wing....SORRY! LOL didnt notice I did that until I saw the video.Family sedan with Recaro seats and 50 degrees of slip angle?
bimmer challege will probably distribute better next year b2 b3 class....I agree e92 should not be so high in points, but at the same time wouldnt be fair m3 e92 = m3 e46 or z4m
AriuSen wroteLOL, I didn't mind. I spent a lot of time in limp mode on Saturday, so I didn't have any power - and I tried to let people by as much as I could. AriuSen wroteI figure I'll do the best I can on stock suspension and these new springs. Was going to do MCS 2-way suspension this year, but I figure I'll postpone my plans unless I'm absolutely not competitive in B3.

I don't know I think my seats are worth two seconds Lolol
M3 Number 86 wroteQFP was huge for setting consistent lap times and reducing fatigue. After two days of buttonwillow with stock 3-point OEM seat belt, my knees were in agony from hitting the side of the door arm rest.I think you'll be able to get more out of the tires too.

I don't doubt good seat would be worth it!!

didn't know you were in the white e92
fun day! you did really well with stock shocks too by the way.

roastbeef wroteShould go to a BMW CCA club race or PCA club race, where the racers bring their girlfriends to the track.Wood trim, huh? Never seen a woodie at the track.
Plenty of woodies at those track events. Not sported on cars, but there's plenty.
I was happy with the oem seats before I started tracking. It's getting to the point that bracing myself against the dead pedal is taking away from my focus a little bit.
Macguyver'd a solution to not being able to pass lap belt of QFP through hole in recaro.
My logic is that it's an oem piece so should be strong and it is the same thickness as the VAC adapter that goes under the floor mount so it should be fine.
