I think your trunk needs a little adjustment, the gaps are too big.

I noticed that, too. I think I saw a pic of another e93 with that trunk and had similarly large gaps. I initially that the guy must have had his trunk popped open, but now, I'm thinking that the mold of that trunklid is just a little small.

Maybe the owner that car can add some info here.

Yeah I have the same trunk, my body shop needed to do a lot of modification to it to make it fit correctly. Worth every penny though, on a car like these you really can't get away with having a large gap like that.

Your car looks great buddy.

What is that front lip you have and what suspension your are running?
Well it's finally mine, home safe and sound after a 900 mile road trip to drive it from TN to MN.

It's hilarious that you can find clues in google images ... Searching for Speed Yellow M3 I found these threads. It's funny to me how much hate there is for the color but the coupe speed yellow threads on this forum got more love it seems. Doesn't matter because I LOVE it and I'm excited as hell to have found this E93 M3.

Las Vegas dealer threads when it was new:

Currently the car has 52k on it after my drive home. Apparently it was a difficult sell for that dealer because they made it a demo which extended the warranty a few months and 5k miles. Which helps me since it is still covered. I'm planning to do the BMW powertrain extended warranty.

The PPI checked out but the car has had a hard life from the front bumper (repainted poorly) and the carbon splitters that looked so pretty when it was new are damaged beyond repair. Also the passenger side rocker looks to have taken a speed bump hit up front. It needs tires, too which is fine, I expected that.

The interior is immaculate at least and looks new still. The M performance exhaust sounds sweet and the car still feels very special.

So first priority is tires, then the BMW warranty, and then I'll start taking a look at getting a front bumper paintwork estimate. The build sheet on this thing is awesome to see with all the custom upgrades that were ordered on it from the factory. The car turns lots of heads at gas stations and on my drive north yesterday and today!

Very nice E93, congrats! You should wrap the window trim
Slowly coming together... 2008 just rolled over 40k miles... I haven't had her quite a year yet.

Sick look, what are the wheel specs & what's it dropped on? Lastly, any rear shots? I may see a rear lip spoiler back there, but can't tell..

The forgestars and GT4 lip are an absolute win on the E93, best platform for those two mods I think. I recall a MW E93 out in california that was running that. Looked great.

All great looking verts!!! Loved mine but it was time to jump into something more up to date and power. I only had 20,xxx miles on it but figured I would try to get some money out of it now. Loved the car just didn't drive it enough. Once the car got up and going it ran good as BMW's are good in their power band. For an 8 though no torque off the line! I had the BMW in the shop to get the airbag recall 2 weeks ago and they let me borrow a regular 4 series. I have to say I was impressed with the all around power even in the lower end.
So traded the car in for a beast of porn star!! Convertible Z06 with Z07 kit the rotors and huge with ceramic brakes!

My dad had a C6 Z, it was an absolute monster. I can't even begin to imagine the gut punch this can provide. Congrats! Looks amazing too.
Yeah its not even broken in yet. It has paddle shifters which I wanted its no where though as a true dual clutch as I can't downshift on the stickshift like the M. I got spoiled with the smg with my e46 then with the e93 DCT which was perfect! I like though of the idea taking a phone call, drinking coffee or sitting in traffic and just switching to auto mode.
I hopefully will try to be able to get on a do a little track time but nothing too serious. It has a video performance data recorder that will record my driving and have the data overlaid on it. That will be kewl to see.
With any super high performance car you have to respect it or it will break you.

Here was my baby!! They have her now..
