Recently picked up my 2009 E92 M3. I originally was shopping for a clean e46 m3 that wasn't priced out the ass and spent about 3 months doing so. Found a car in Florida and planned on flying down to drive it back. About a week before the flight, found out the title wasn't exactly how it was represented originally and I decided to cancel. Started searching again and came across this. Decided to grab it within a week and don't regret it one bit. I'm coming from a B7 A4, still have it, and gotta say I'm happy with my decision. Sorry for the iphone quality pictures..

As much as I love the way black cars in general look, I forgot how much of a pain they are to keep clean and keep the paint in order. No complaints otherwise though. Optioned almost exactly how I would have done it myself with the exception of black leather seats..I'd prefer fox red.
I have some big plans for this car eventually but want to enjoy it as is for the time being. I typically like to start from stock with builds but I couldn't pass up on this car. Already has a custom exhaust with turner test pipes, dodson clutches, apex arc 8s, kw springs, stud conversion, anodized paddle shifters, cf front lip and rear spoiler, oss headlights, anodized exhaust tips, p3 vent gauge, defiv dif lockdown kit,and a vac motorsports line lock kit. Open to input and opinions on what is worth keeping on it and what I should maybe keep an eye on for reliability reasons.
Eventually want to do a full N/A build. Personally want to stay away from forced induction since this may be one of the last N/A V8s BMW puts out for production. Maybe a vinyl wrap to get away from the black paint issues. We'll see what else comes along. Needless to say, incredibly happy with the car and going to try and be active and contribute on the forums.
