My full akra evolution doesn't blow sound at Laguna Seca. Dunno about Borla.
id love that, but unfortunately not in the budget. I guess something thats lighter, sounds awesome, but doesn't wake the dead... all for under 2k

You're asking too much.
i figured... know if the atak with stock cats and x-pipe is under 92? On Borla's website it says they are legal in cali so they must be?
Cali legal just means emissions compliant. Has nothing to do with sound.

Sending back that "torque" wrench today.

"Inch pounds? What is this?! A torque wrench for ants!?"

How annoying.
Keep it you will need low torque value on some items also.

I'm pretty sure he's referring to the impact driver he bought, not a torque wrench. In which case, he wouldn't need it if he buys a higher torque impact wrench.
Yea, I meant the impact driver. I'd rather use the $100 towards something a little more... Beefy!
Did SCCA track night at Harris Hill yesterday and its was fun! The Hankook RS3 grip a lot better than the NT05! I felt like I could push the car harder than the NT05.

RS3s are "cheater tires" but the compound is pretty much an rcomp with lots of tread pattern.

In the beginning when new, yes. But they fall off rather quickly after several heat cycles.

Not sure I agree. RS3 < NT01 < TD regardless of size.

I agree with this statement, but IIRC he was talking about NT05s?

:confused2
Those of you who use RBF 600, where do y'all get the fluid from? Prices on Amazon fluctuate a lot, and I've paid $16/bottle shipped before and $13/bottle shipped most recently. But I can't find anything at $13 anymore. :/

My bad for not reading backwards. I was just responding to the RS3 as "cheater" remark. I was never impressed with that tire. I just used it long enough to get track comfortable and then skipped over NT01 and went straight to TD. Next stop...R1S.

I recall the RS3s were cheater tires because Hankook keeps changing around the UTQG but not the compound so their race cars can use them in various events.

:D
Just took the passenger side rear brake caliper off for the first time today. I'm hunting a squeaking noise and thought maybe when the sensor broke off a piece got lodged between the rotor and pad. Nope. No idea what's causing it.

Oh, and F taking the rear calipers off. Shit sucks. I don't know how you guys deal with it.
BBK with floating pads...
I'll be getting the Essex rear kit when these are shot.

Thanks for the heads up! Next track day next month at MSR Cresson!.

Is it autocross. R1s is only good for day on track or so.

Video of me at Harris Hill. Harry's Lap timer wasn't recording my lap times so I used my phone to live stream on Facebook lol. Very bumpy track, but still fun. I was hitting 100mph plus on the straights.
