It is only available via your BMW Center.
Damn...That's what I thought. Now if I could get that much detail about my car, that would be :cool!:.
I just went to Status 150...

I am so freaking excited I feel like a kid again.
Are there any dealer reps here who can check the status of my vehicle since Owner's Circle is rarely up-to-snuff?
Anyone know how long the wait is now?

Edit: Ordered at Dealer, aka Deposit and "most" specs picked out (9/1/2005)
Edit: Car went "On Order" (6/1/06)
Edit: Status 150 (started production) (9/12/06)
Edit: Status 152 (Paint Shop) (9/18/06)
Edit: Status 154 (Assembly) (9/19/06)
Edit: Status 155 (Assembly Finished / Quality Check) AND On its way to the port!9/20/06
Edit: Waiting at the Port of Exit for a ship 9/25/06
Edit: Vehicle is in Transit 9/28/06 on The Liberty.
Edit: estimated arrival to US Port 10/8....now 10/10.
Edit: Arrival at South Carolina 10/16
Edit: Arrival at VPC 10/17
Edit: On a Truck going to Chicago 10/18 8:00pm
Edit: Picked up 10/21 at Dealer in Chicago
Edit: Schedueled for Shipping down to Dallas 10/22
Edit: Actual Date being shipped to Dallas 10/27
Edit: Estimated arrival in Dallas 10/30
Edit: Arrived in Dallas 10/28

Edit: 335i engine blew 11-4-06 and but into Service and prolly gone for a long time

I'll prolly keep updating this as the whole process plays out.
THANKS FOR THE INFO,...BUT WHERE DO WE FIND OUT WHEN THE VESSEL SHIPS ARE SAILING? MY 335 HAS BEEN SITTING AT THE "PORT OF EXIT" FOR OVER A WEEK...HELP!
Sometimes too much information is not a good thing. My car finished production September 8th. My ED is Oct. 10th. BMWNA has shown the car at status 170 since 9/8. Every time I call the 800 number to check on the status, whoever answers in customer relations speculates about a new reason why it needs to go to the workshop. This started about the same time 335tt had his engine grenade up in Canada. You can imagine all the nightmare scenarios I went through as to why the car needs to go to workshop.

Finally I got a sane answer from ED department. Since the delivery center has room for a certain number of cars, this is the status that will show until a few days before delivery. The workshop in this case could be in Regensburg or in Munich. The car goes through for the pre delivery inspection, then is taken to the delviery center.

The OP's listing started at Production Status 150. What are the status number codes before 150 and what do they mean?

And the 800# messages go in this order. Also, from what I can tell it seems the system updates between 6am and 7am EST.

"Your vehicle is scheduled for production with no confirmed production date"
"Your vehicle is scheduled for production with an estimated completion date of mm/dd/yy"
"Your vehicle is in the body shop and is scheduled to be completed on mm/dd/yy"
"Your vehicle is in the paint shop and is scheduled to be completed on mm/dd/yy"
"Your vehicle is in the assembly phase and is scheduled to be completed on mm/dd/yy"
"Your vehicle production is complete and is waiting to be released to the carrier"
"Your vehicle was released to a carrier and is awaiting transportation to the port of exit"
"Your vehicle is being transported to the port of exit"
"Your vehicle is at the port of exit waiting for a shipping vessel"
"Your vehicle is in transit. Contact your BMW Center for more information"
what is the 1800 no???
Updated first post with extensive list.

I just received my production number and after inputting it into the owners circle, it is saying I ordered a 2008 M3 sedan, but I know I ordered a coupe. have there been mistakes on the type of model as well? or just color? Thank you
