Any thoughts on how the car felt after installing the driveshaft...curious because several of us have them on order without knowing much about how it feels to the driver. Thanks.

It made a difference, but again my car is a full race car and we did so much to it with the driveshaft (clutch/light flywheel). I'm sure you will notice a difference.

I purchased my 2008 M3 with 84,500 miles and turned it into a full race car. Ever since then I've put 5,000 hard track miles on it.

I was at Laguna Seca 6/23 with Speed Ventures and during the 3rd session coming out of the last corner I went to third gear and BOOOOOOM! I surely thought it was my engine, but it was my carbon driveshaft that literally blew up.

Since the car was down and I didn't have another track event lined up until 8/3 I decided to pull the bearings and replace it with WPC bearings and ARP rod bolts. I'm glad I did! Number 6/7 are the worst of the eight. I'm sure if I went to another event the engine would of blown up. I never did any oil analysis before this. Here are some pictures:
