Hi All,

I know this topic has be discussed to death in other forums but I'm wondering if anyone with an OEM exhaust mod in the South Bay is available to meet up. After watching dozens of comparison videos and reading through even more opinions I'm still undecided on whether to go with the ACM or the perforated version (or any version of those two). I feel like hearing them in person is the only way I'll be able to make a decision. I live in San Jose and work in Palo Alto and am willing to drive to other areas if needed. Thanks!

I have a perforated Oem mod also but with test pipes currently on the car. Let me know if you'd be interested in listening to it. I'm located in milpitas but work in sj.

I definitely am. I'm headed out of town for the weekend but I'll pm you when I get back to set up a time to meet up. Thanks!
Wheres the best place to get Test pipes installed and how much did it cost?
What shops are you guys finding to the most reliable in their work and knowledgeable about our cars? I've tried 3 different shops and so far Audio Mobile was the only one I felt 100% great about. (for electronics work such as hardwire RD)

I'm looking for a body shop to install rear diffuser and OEM CF rear spoiler + a shop for regular maintenance. Tricky to find shops open on weekends and not far from downtown SF.

Performance Technic and AlekShop are both reputable shops next to each other in Fremont if you want to check those out. I use P Tech and nothing but positive results from them.

Thanks. Alekshop seemed good, but no weekend hours. Performance technic also no weekends! Sounds like I'll need to take time off from work in order to get high quality work done.

I did not know that, where did Ptech moved to? They are a great shop and they were pretty close to the Bart station which was nice.

not sure to be honest.
Anybody have a valved exhaust such as ArmyTrix or IPE? I'd like to hear one with valves open/closed to see what I'd be getting into.

Let me know if you go to any local meets or somewhere around downtown SF; I'm in the Rincon Hill / South Beach area, would love to hear it before seriously thinking of buying a valved cat-back

I'm at the M meets in Fremont and most other big meets. I can't take my car to SF, I'm too low.
