HerbNRacer wroteHey Herb or anyone who knows the answer, maybe I have just never driven slow in manual mode but... I have the GTS DCT tune. For the first time I'm noticing that if I take off slowly in manual mode the car shifts into 2nd gear without me doing anything. If I push it hard it does not shift on its own. Only at very slow speed does it do this. And only from 1st to 2nd. Is this typical and I have just never noticed or is it a programming issue that has just arisen? One other thing, this is a Florida car. I'm in 30 degree weather up north. Every sensor in the car has gone off including emissions, start off assistance, DBC malfunction and DSC malfunction. So I'm assuming that the cold weather is affecting the battery. Is the battery issue affecting the transmission also?TimberWolf_3063 wroteI seem to remember there being some software changes in the early days of the DCT, I will have to look into that one.Mine's a 2010. Model year change maybe? Did 2012 have stop & go? That could be related...

BOOF-M3 wroteI had this exact same problem when one of my wheel speed (ABS) sensors went bad. If you are throwing these codes the car basically takes over the 1-2 shift to keep you from losing it. Fix the errors and your DCT with shift perfect again!Hey Herb or anyone who knows the answer, maybe I have just never driven slow in manual mode but... I have the GTS DCT tune. P.S. my car throws all kinds of random codes along with the battery error BC the batt is on its way out (unrelated to my ABS sensor problem). Mine even began shifting funny (slow shifts in S5) and Im pretty sure it is my batt, as the DCT is not leaking. If you are getting battery fault codes I would for sure think this is related to the battery failing.
HerbNRacer wroteI did figure it out the next day. I had to reset an EDC code. Good eye and thank you.BOOF-M3 wroteI had this exact same problem when one of my wheel speed (ABS) sensors went bad. BOOF-M3 wroteYeah, sorry for the late reply, somehow this one slipped by me.I did figure it out the next day. I had to reset an EDC code. Good eye and thank you.

Glad you got it worked out!

I've had my DCT 2011 135I N55 now for many years. Recently bought a DCT 2011 E93 M3. Now I have 2! I love it connected to the turbo N55, but have yet to really experience it with the S65 NA V8.
