My car is also scheduled for Week 17 production my CA says i should get it around June 12. Does that sound right, what did u hear? just curious what is euro delivery?

Taking delivery in Munich on June 4th. After 1200 miles the fun begins.
The car then gets dropped off at a BMW location for the boat ride to U.S.

Conrats, I was originally told that European Delivery was not available on the new M3 - it sounds like that has changed already. I just took delivery today on my order. I am sure it will be a great experience, take some photos if you get a chance.

I shopped it around. Most said no to Euro Delivery on M cars. They give you some bull about loosing allocations and money. I was persistant until dealer said yes. I will post pics. congrats on your new baby.

ED would be great but it'll be too hard not to break the sound barrier on the autoban!!

Thanks for the good words guys. I know break in is under 5500 rpm first 1200 miles, but then what is part two of break in? Is it under 137 mph for 3100 miles or is that just for M5/M6 V10?

Yes, the Welt it will be. I can't wait to see this place, besides what will be waiting inside for me. I did Euro Delivery in 05 on a 645 vert and the building we went to pick up at was not very impressive. Some industrail area with not much to see.
