I moved to NYC so I replaced it with an NYC MTA card... and I had my Passat parked for a while.

I did miss the M3 but couldn't justify two cars, payment, insurance etc. if I was barely driving.

that's a cool story

what did you replace the M3 with for those years?
When purchased: Jan 2019
Year and Model: 2012 e93
Miles: 40k
Options: Jerez Black, EDC, M-Performance Exhaust, Carbon Fiber interior on Fox Red
Transmission: DCT

Price: 24k

Drove from FL to GA to pick up this car from United BWM in Alpharetta. Took the family for the trip and we all drove back in the M3. This I would not repeat, both my kids are still on carseats, my boy was kicking my seat the whole 9 hour ride lol but hey, that was the price I had to pay.

The car needed some maintenance but the guys at Harrison´s Motorsport did a great job.

This is my first M3 (had 335i and 535i before) and what a difference, day and night. Enjoying it every day.
When purchased: 05/18
Year and Model: 2011 E92
Miles: 78K
Options: SSII Paint, heated seats, otherwise a stripper!
Transmission: 6 speed

Price: $26.5K

Bought from VERY meticulous original owner who was selling because his individual m4 was on the way. Came with oem 220's, some custom ordered adv1's, and a brand new set of tires from the m4 (fit adv1 or stocks)

Interesting that a CF roof e90 individual color ended up at CarMax. What in the world...

I went in hard on this one. :D

$18k in mods alone (just parts), 19,4xx miles and the cars condition in and out is literally 10/10.

haha, so it was you who I (BCSTL) was bidding with at the end! Great buy, you've got to post some videos. I want to hear this thing scream.
LOL, sorry bro... I wanted this particular car bad. I looked at many low mile cars that were in nice condition for similar money. This car is in phenomenal condition!

Yeah. I was searching for weeks for the right car and it popped up at a Carmax in Irvin, TX. I reserved the car and started the transfer process before the store even opened to ensure I got it to OKC so I could look it over.

Great deal. Where did you find the car if you don't me asking? Dealer or private party?
I actually found the car on Ebay. Fortunately the seller was local so I was able to go check it out in person.

Do you know who installed the CF roof or at least how the car came to be one of the maybe 50 CF roof e90's on earth ???
(FYI I have no basis for that estimate of 50 CF roof e90's but there can't be very many lol)

$20 says it's a wrap.

That's an ex-forum member's car with an actual replacement RKP CF roof. I believe IND did the work, I could be wrong about that though.

Congrats! One of my favorites from way back. Carbon V-weave roof is NOT a wrap.
