Car had rod bearings replaced 10k miles ago. Waiting on further diagnosis but they said a rod blew through the engine.

Was just browsing their catalogue and they say they offer a standard size as well as some plus sizes for ground down cranks. Suspicious especially right after an oil change.
Previously SCed car; maybe lost main #1 and took out the two downstream RBs with debris.

Driving last week, shifted into 3rd, Manual Tranny, Rod goes through the block, no mods, never raced, original owner. 22k for a new engine fro BMW, no warranty.
This car has been very well taken care of. No word from BMW, car is sitting at a dealership in Louisville, waiting for my decision to replace the engine, or attempt to sell it and walk away.
