New to me E90

I’ve had the car for about a month, absolutely love it. I had an E46 M3 and wanted a daily so I upgraded to 4 doors. The previous owner had it wrapped and it has grown on me. I’ve never had a car that gets this much attention. While I didn’t buy it for that it’s been fun to get compliments from all over the spectrum. Just got a set of Apex EC-7s that will get installed in a week or so. Let me know what you think!

the good shops will offer this service, but its not cheap. probably a $5K wrap job.

looks like a "higher end "wrap considering they wrapped the door jams.

Doors are wrapped inside, they basically took the car apart (doors, bumper covers, etc) to do it. Original color is Silverstone which I love as well. I’ve essentially got an orange car bra, lol.

I was on the fence with the orange exterior/extended Fox Red but the tint is dark enough where you can’t see the contrast. Someone in another thread said it best: Party on the outside, party on the inside!”

I didn’t buy this for the wrap, it’s a fully documented car with very recent BE rod bearings and new TAs.

Great car! Love the extended FR! Yeah they did a great job on the wrap as well.

Agree, the PO had it done, I’m fine with Silverstone/Fox Red and I still have that if/when I remove the wrap. The combo has grown on me though. I wouldn’t want a different interior, the Red is so nice. You can’t see the red from the outside(tint) and when you’re sitting in it, well it’s just the way I want it to be. The exterior definitely stands out and looks amazing.

Compared to the e46, it’s just a better car. The steering alone makes this change worth it, the e46 rack is so slow to turn, requires way too much wheel movement and requires a lot of shuffle steering. As far as how they drive otherwise they are similar in that they are both high strung and really like to do their thing in the higher revs. There’s just more with the s65. The e46 feels more connected while the e90 feels more capable. Oversteer is manageable with the e90 where the e46 can get away from you much easier. And the last thing, I couldn’t daily the e46 and get 3 kids to school, now I can. The fit and finish on the inside is no comparison.

I think I have a leak in the gas tank, I have to go to the gas station twice a week! OOF!

Sedans are the best looking IMO.

And a 6 speed. . Nice pickup.
