What's eta on first 4 kits shipping?
slonik's user avatarslonik sent you PM
hello guys! im here, had a lot of local work these days, sorry.
paid orders in work (we are on the finish lane).
all others - welcome! :D
Don't forget about the ladies here ;)

slonik's user avatarslonik, amazing work here - love it, want it. Please send me a quote via PM or reply here for:

- 6 pot fronts.
- 4 pot rears (post #262).
- Yellow with Brembo labels (black).
- M2/F87 with stock rotors and 763m (track) and 437m (street).

Current rotors have 1600 miles on them so we just need the basic kit (?); brackets, lines and calipers. I can make immediate payment once the details are covered.

Questions:
[1] Are the brake lines a direct fit (oem mounting points).
[2] Recommended brake pads for street (f/r) w/ low dust properties.
[3] Do the mounting brackets utilize oem torque specs ?
[4] When the calipers require servicing, where to source parts ? Brembo ?
[5] Is the logo above or below the transparent acrylic ?

Thanks so much (waiting patiently for your response),
Monika

awesome. I have been considering going BBK when replace rotors (120K miles so far). Your stuff really comes in at a sweet pricing spot.

kudos

I'll get in touch when the time comes

1) yep, of course.
2) if customer don't know which pads to choose, we are usually advice to start from ferodo racing ds2500 pads. but i cant say that they are low dust.

i think i cant offer something else right now, to have such universal usability and same time have low dust making. i'm really love pagid rsl29 pads, but with their price i think not many customers prefer to choose them (but they are the best pads, really!).

3) depends on bracket design (different cars/uprights), but on your m2 yep, that works.

4) you can ask and we will supply this parts with a great prices (we have them in stock), or i can give you some part numbers with really good prices, to buy them yourself (a LOT better price, then from brembo). yes, they will also original brembo parts.

5) logo under clear coat (high gloss) of powder coating.
Hopefully paid orders have shipped by now?

I PM’d Slonik the same question last Thursday and his response was it should be this week. They were in final clear coating process.

I can’t wait to get them in hand.
@slonik's user avatarslonik what's the status shipping?
Shipping was estimated 3-4 weeks from payment and we just wrapped up 6 weeks. Anyone heard from Slonik?

Unfortunately he seems very busy and order times can blow out, he does good work you just have to be patient..

I ordered over 8 weeks ago and back then he'd quoted 3-4 weeks also.

For sure I don't doubt that. Been holding off on a track day until I have parts and they're taking awhile. Would be great to have a positive update from Slonik.

I am with you. When I ordered them back in mid July I figured I would have them before my upcoming track day this coming weekend.
Anyone heard from Slonik in the last 3 weeks?

I talked to him on the night of the 15th; it was to place my order for a F&R kit -- which was the last time he commented on this post.
Guys, hes a very small company whos willing to make specialty parts for our chassis in house. His products are very nice, but you have to be patient. i ahve ordered from Slonik on 3 seperate occasions, parts always arrived, and were very well made.
Nobody needs to jump to his defenses here because nobody is attacking Slonik. He said 3-4 weeks to manufacture and then kits would ship. It's been 6 weeks and we haven't heard from him in 2+ weeks. He has $2k+ of cash per buyer.

It's totally reasonable to post questions regarding status and communication here as well as send pm's. Both of which I've done. It would be no different for any business regardless of size selling on the forums. Let's keep the replies on topic.

Cheers
