Looking at the piles of pictures I cant say these look brand in comparison, think they all look pretty similar on picture incl mine (at 43k).Might be the cleanest ones I've seen coming out, especially considering that mileage. Does the choice of new bearings take into account the actual clearances on a specific car or are the replacement parts all just "bigger clearance". If the issue is a tolerance stack up then would this suggest those with more clearance to start with (and hence less issue) would end up on the high end of the clearance tolerance?
I'm very interested in this topic as I'm on the fence of having mine done and was quite surprised that SV Bimmer were not encouraging me to put work their way, telling me that at my mileage (50k on 2013) they would not be rushing into it....
Installed Bimmerworld 10mm F and 5mm R spacers with extended lugs. Cleaned up the hubs with a wire brush, proper torquing, and they are buttery smooth up to Mexico speeds. The rear is perfect, the front will be after I get the camber plates on. 255/275 PS4S, stock ZCP suspension. Funny they feel so small in your hand and yet make a noticeable difference when installed.

Bit of headache really having to drill the holes to bolt splitter up to the Turner under tray, align it and space it. Made a bit of a mess of it but nothing a nice fat washer couldn't take care of. Have angled the splitter almost up for now so it doesn't get worked to bad around town but it's inevitable, this thing is gonna get fucked up. I figure it's protection for the OEM splitters. Looks racecar
We did that a buddies E36 ti that we were doing a major overhaul restoration on. Want to do it do my car except for having it up on the lift waiting for the covers to be crinkle painted and dry. Such a nice surprise accent when you open the hood. Maybe when we need to do valve cover gaskets we'll tackle that as well.

i had the car for 15 years. 2 major crashes. became a total loss but i retained and repaired and drove it for another year before finally getting a f30
sold it to a friend for $1000 with 195k miles on it
really wanted to hit 200k but i didn't want to spend money to pass smog at that point
went through so many different wheels through the years
started with the stock 16" to the 17" style m68 ... BBS RX ... style 197 and 189 from the e90/92
ZHP m135 wheels were my favorite
swapped M3 seats and steering wheel

It was dusted with rock dust.
Around me in PA they like to make roads as cheap as possible with what I call "Fish and Chips" (the signs they put up always mention chips)
Basically a million little rock pebbles with a mixture to make it hard, but until the first rain and 10000 cars drive over it is basically makes dust storms.
