jaehshim wroteHow is the motor disappointing? Having been a prior owner of multiple E46 and E9X M3's (...and currently on my second F82), I find the F8X to be the superior car in every objective measure, and for the most part the S55 feels/performs like an N/A motor (..meaning, lag is minimal in stock form). I do agree with you about the F8X ZCP wheels. I never quite cared for them. The E46/E9X ZCP wheels are some of the best looking OEM wheels ever conceived by BBS.love the ZCP rims, so sad that not only the new M's turbo engine is disappointing, but also those ZCP pack + ZCP rims...
there's a few cars that I think the stock rims are unbeatable....look better than any aftermarket rims ever seen. actually the aftermarket rims ruin the look

Sedan_Clan wroteI've taken a few new M3's out at Thermal. They are pretty fast for stock (on slicks) but the engine def does not feel like NA to me. Lots of torque out the corners get squiggly wiggly and then after 5,500rpm on the straits power comes down so much I asked to switch cars once as I thought it was in limp mode but no that's just the powerband. I'm sure u can mod them up so they dont behave this way.jaehshim wroteHow is the motor disappointing? There's so much more to NA feeling (let alone of the S65 caliber) than "minimal turbo lag."
They're fast as hell and better in objectively every measure, but not nearly as fun/special in any subjective measure. I paid F80 money for E90, happily. Many people on this forum have moved up, and then moved right back into an E9X. Different strokes (pun intended) for different folks.

Thinking about getting the black gts 359’s
wyatth wroteTo me the F8X is subjectively a more fun car to drive; my three E9X ///M3's weren't very memorable cars IMHO. Of all of my past BMW's, it's actually my '05 IB ZCP 6MT ///M3 that hammers at my emotions, and I still rubber neck the IB E46 M3's that I see occasionally. Everybody has a different opinion though. Sedan_Clan wroteExcept we agree that a proper E46 is surely emotional and worth rubber necking! That’s a cold hard fact! PTRAN wroteCould look good with your theme. I’m noodling between keeping my gunmetal or trading for stock silvers. Dark is fun, silver is classic. These wheels work in any color.Thinking about getting the black gts 359’s
Here you go by request.

I also built new wheels, so new photos to come. Maybe not in the ZCP thread tho lol.

LostPanda wroteAbsolutely stunning. While I love my Silverstone E90, I would be lying if I said I wouldn't prefer a red E92 M3. I still think my ultimate dream weekend toy car is a low mileage Melbourne red E92 M3. I remember back when the M3 came out I only saw one or two in red, but it was the red ones that made me break my neck as the passed by.6ixSpd

After a number of sets of BBS. RIA, 2 sets of E88s and a set of E05's I am back on the OEM ZCP wheels now that the car is retired from track duty for good after this season.
Need to get some 255/275 PS4's and to figure out what spacers to run. I also will probably part out a lot of the solid suspension bits and align the car a bit less aggressively.... and paint half the car from all of the track time
