How do launch control on a 6mt and valet mode work exactly?

1. Hold clutch down
2. Place vehicle in gear 1
3. Floor the pedal
4. Release clutch when ready

Valet mode is flashed in and must be flashed out of. It isn't on the fly.

Do the tune files get updated over time? I'm running 91 octane stage 2 tune that's a couple years old. Would it be worthwhile to get newer files?

Hi All,

Just wanted to give a shout out to Alex for the tune and his customer service. Purchased ECU / DCT / Coding package and the car has completely transformed.

A friend of mine who also has an untuned M3 was utterly gobsmacked at how much of a difference there was between our two cars.

Could not be any happier with the speed and quality of his service.

For anyone one that has the tune

Where is the dct tune or you meaning the dct gts one as the add one for $80?

Anyone have any new sound of the burps of the updated one or is it in testing trails still? I wouldn't mind it low burps long doesn't make a big single gun shot one. I'm assuming after reading the thread it only happens with the louder burp options ?

I am curious as well.

Also curious on the update and was about to text Alex about this. My file is a couple years old too.

Yes, I am constantly evolving/updating the tune.

The "flash first" file that he sends is the 241e tune. That is the latest factory tune. If you have deleted cats, you will need to swap that back to factory as well.
