Depends on if the weather is nice or not.

...and whether you feel like bringing out the E30. Would love to see it!

In for the e30 sighting.

Edit: 28 degrees at 8am, what is this winter or something :mad0259:

Hey everyone,

Been on the lookout for an e90 M3 six speed for quite some time, and have yet to find one locally here in Charleston, SC. Unfortunately, the sports car community is pretty lackluster in this area, so I have expanded my search, and came across an 08 e90 M3 in Charlotte, NC. I was curious if anyone on the forum was in that area, and wouldn't mind checking out this car in person, before I made the drive up.

I have been speaking to the owner, and plan on having a PPI done at Eurowise. I spoke with a guy over at Eurowise, gave him a rundown on the car, and he felt that their standard PPI would be fine, and didn't think the compression test was needed. Said the compression test adds another two weeks given the time it takes for the oil samples to be processed. Curious if anyone had any advice on that.

Thank you,
Brent
Eurowise should be capable enough in their regular PPI. I trust them for all of my fluid changes and engine oil Blackstone lab submissions. If the car you are considering was down on compression due to being abused, other signs would likely be apparent. 45K is also fairly low miles for an '08 IMHO. Sorry that I don't personally have the time to go take a look at it for you!

Thank you for sharing your experience, this is super helpful. Hopefully the PPI checks out. Thanks again!
Found a buddy today. Parking garage of Southpark mall parked in the very very back haha. Beautiful car, anyone on here?

Saw a beautiful IB e90 sedan on BBS LM's on Friday near the Publix in South End, looked great rolling by!
Is Eurowise a trustworthy shop for rod bearings and other maintenance?

I don't have personal experience with them, but they have a very good reputation and do some great work from what I've seen.
What's up guys, I'm back! Took delivery of a E90 Saturday, seems like it's still pretty dead around here though since the last post was over 2 years ago. Are there any other good E9x pages or accounts I should be following for local meets or weekend drives? Regardless, hope to see you guys around!

Looks awesome!

I'm not in CLT but ILM. Is there any NC E9X meetups? Just got into an E92 M3 from my second E46 M3.

Getting RB's done next week. Then the modding begins!

Welcome back Sean!! Nice pickup!
Unfortunately not too many meets happening due to Covid recently, but hopefully come spring the monthly car meets will be back 🤞🏼
Longshot here guys: does anyone have e90 length exhaust tips (OEM or aftermarket)? Cheers!
Hi all,

Anyone in the CLT area have one or more OEM E90 fitment 359M (aka Competition Package, ZCP) rims to sell?

Don't have ZCP wheels, but I will have a set of Race Silver 18x10/18x11 Apex EC7's for sale soon if those interest you.
Anyone planning on attending either of these events tomorrow?

Anyone on here drive an e92 Laguna Seca blue? Saw one in Cornelius yesterday by the peninsula
If anyone is going to C&C tomorrow and feels like getting up early, we have quite a few e9x's meeting up at Top Golf (off of 485 near the venue) at 7am to roll in and hopefully park together.
