Finally installed Bimmertech Android Auto Remote image: undefined
Very interesting. How do you feel about the resolution of the screen with the more modern interface?

I haven't been able to see one and have been told the screen feels low resolution.
On CIC with CarPlay it looks great, can't speak for CCC without screen replacement.

installed the M Factory CF driveshaft (v2). very high quality part. 10 pounds lighter than stock. as far as driving impressions go, i will prob need to wait for warmer weather and better traction to get a better feel for it. the biggest difference ive noticed so far is there’s less engine braking. Tbh when i did solid rear subframe bushings last year, that felt like a bigger upgrade. but we’ll see.

anyone have any experience with this battery?

Champion AGM Battery, Group Size H8
sold by Pepboys

has 4 year free replacement warranty
I have it -- I don't really have anything to report on it, good or bad; I've had it for a year now. I've let the car sit for three weeks at a time and although my time resets, it starts just fine. I will say, as any other AGM battery this size, these things are heavy. Kinda makes we want to replace with a lighter battery.

Can you connect your phone via wifi/bluetooth, or do you have to plug it into USB?
Thanks

CarPlay I think does the handshake over Bluetooth then connects over WiFi. Not sure about android auto but they should both be wireless.
Santa came late this year

Which brand did you get? Also does your control wheel and steering wheel button work with it?

I bought the Carsara unit. Yes the idrive wheel works, the track skip buttons on the steering wheel works, the voice activation button pulls up Siri. There is a thread about the unit and others in the nav/coding section.

I've tried to combine as many FAQ's into this thread specifically for the Carsara box which is the latest/greatest of the chinese Carplay boxes.

I did but since they forgot to send me the cable that passes the idrive video through the Carsara CarPlay box I can't get to the idrive to select the aux input or aux input volume. So I can see CarPlay fine just not idrive. Cable should be here by Saturday hopefully I can get that in set the input and test audio.

I totally forgot about the steering wheel button that changes input so I'll try that but if I recall it's like radio, cd, music collection (hard drive), and external devices. External devices has USB and aux input under it. If external devices doesn't default to aux I'll be screwed until I get the cable and can see idrive again.

That's awesome they are making these now. Are they going to make an e90 spoiler? Of course that's a bitch to ship to the states though.
