Ccieszyn wroteAwesome. MPE? How do you like it so far?Didn't pause to take too many pictures, but I was able to sneak this fella in without my wife noticing.
PACarGuy wroteThat's an Akrapovic, just got one myself a couple of days ago. It sounds insane. The car had no exhaust sound before.Awesome. MPE? How do you like it so far?

PACarGuy wroteYep, MPE. Latest version. It's great! Sounds fantastic from the outside, and just the tiniest bit more aggressive inside. Should pair perfectly with the Evolve CF trio (plenum/lid/intake) that should be here next week.Awesome. MPE? How do you like it so far?
I had Eisenmann Race on my e60 for a year or two. And although I absolutely loved how the car sounded from the outside, the change in the cabin was too much for my aging ears, so I specifically looked for something that wouldn't change the interior tone very much. I'll repeat what I've heard from others: This is how it should have come from the factory.
Ccieszyn wroteLook at that paint!!!
It almost looks see through, or like tinted glass!!
I installed KW clubsport coilovers which have the latest spring rates (110 nmm front and 120 nmm rear). I bought the 140 nmm rear springs (from the old version) from KW to swap out but it was 20 mm shorter and I would therefore need to raise the adjuster 20 mm which went over the max height of the adjuster. I'm assuming the older version of the CS had a higher adjuster. Anyone did this swap before who can describe what they did? I also reused the rubber pad at the top of the shock (see circled item in pic) since I couldn't figure how to take it out. I'm assuming this is ok. Can anyone verify? For the front, I have to order new sway bar end links since the oem are too long. I've seen some KWs which came with end links, but mine didn't. Overall not too bad an install. Now I'm going to let it settle and then get an allignment.
Ccieszyn wroteSounds perfect. I can no longer stand booming loud exhausts either at my age. If and when I mod my exhaust, MPE it will be.Yep, MPE. Latest version. It's great! Ccieszyn wroteGreat choice! You'll love the MPE2...until about 3k RPMs, which will be the start of the Eventuri Opera. You'll love that too and its progressive but dual nature. Stock quiet when driven gently but a total menace at WOT. Post impressions when you've had some seat time and congratulations!!Yep, MPE. Latest version. It's great! SoCalRPM wroteI live in Canadia land and daily the M3. I had PSS the first winter I had the car and it was not fun to drive cause they got hardItsGary wroteJust wondering - why are the PS4s contingent on a garage? Was going to buy PS4S but I don't have a garage anymore so I went with A/S3+s again
ATLIEN wroteThey're fine to me. I only drive the car hard during warm days even then it's fine. Results may vary per person tho.ItsGary wroteCurious to know how the as3+ run on the m3. I've got them on my 335 and love them for their handling, tread wear and all seasonability. I run P4S on my M3 and often times wonder how those AS3s would fair. Finally bought new tires.
245/35/19s were hard to find so I got 255/35/19s for the front.
275/35/19s for the rear

ItsGary wroteI agree. My experience with as3s in mountain driving (smoky's I-40 sc,nc,tn) has been excellent on my 335. They take a great set and corner with confidence that I fell is equivalent to the PSS that they replaced.ATLIEN wroteThey're fine to me. I tried Pirelli Pzero and took them on the same mountain route and returned the tires- they were awful and during a high speed sweeper lost grip momentarily in the rear. I never felt that sensation with Michelin's.
Of course I went P4S on the M3 (still have the 335) but when the time comes may go a different route as my driving style is pretty routine (no track) cruiser.

With my car nearing the 90k mile mark, it received a few Christmas presents via a local independent shop.
