Finally picked up a winter beater. No more road salt hurting my baby.

Let the modding begin! 33" tires and a 2.5" lift coming soon.
Xterra is a phenomenal truck!
^ yeah, I hope so. I've always liked them. I'm usually a fan of pretty much anything with fender flares. I was impressed with how hard it pulls. I wasn't expecting that.

Does it have the 4.0 V6?
^ it does. I don't know what will get better MPG. I'm betting on the M.
Installed a Tial bov, sounds bad ass.

Need some sound clips!
Installed Bilstein B16 damptronic coilovers on 3 out of 4 corners....

Then, ran into a seized/rusted bolt on the rear passenger corner where the shock attaches to the control arm. After 3+ hours of trying everything (PB Blaster, heat, impact gun, candle wax, breaker bars, etc) the bolt head finally snapped off. Of course, this is one of the few places where the bolt threads directly into the arm instead of using a nut.

So... now I'm waiting on a new rear control/camber arm to be overnighted from Bimmerworld. I MIGHT be able to drill out the existing one, but I don't want to destroy the threads in the process.

That blows. A lot.

To save hassle for the next swap, put some anti-seize on those bolts.

Cheers,
Took all the snow and ice off it's outdoor cover 😢
I launched EuroConnex today; finally!

We are a Global Social Buying Community of BMW M Owners. We deal factory direct.

Grab your account: www.euroconnex.co

I have been thinking about how we could build from the group buys we have been doing the last months. We have bought over 500,000$ in parts together, and made amazing connections.

We're getting recognized, but moving to large brands is difficult.

I have been building up a social buying community website for the last few weeks.
  • It is a BMW M owner members only community.
  • The website allows you to order products directly from factories worldwide.
  • Factory direct payments: I'm never ever taking payments.
  • Brands will invoice and input tracking and updates straight into your accounts.
  • I'm always standing by to facilitate.
  • All Group Buys will be managed on the website: easy sign ups, easy updates - all centralized on your euroconnex.co account. I will be launching a new GB later today using this platform.
  • I am also gradually expanding the supplier base and products to other M generations: E46 M3, E82 1M, F8X M3/M4 and the E60 & F10 M5 & M6 bros.

Get in the Connex.
Share the Connex.

Huge thank you to everyone who helped me behind the scenes make this happen - and to all of you participating in Group Buys & Specials.

I'm not sure where this is going to take us, I can only promise my motives remain the same: to connect with as many M owners as possible and source brands that care about us, create innovative products, and provide great pricing.

Cheers.

Installed Axiom1 (eBay special) red air scoops, new piano black M-striped grill, and black themed hood medallion. Please excuse the dirty hood. We get to drive our M3 almost year round in the PNW!

Finally installed a nicer set of M219s that I got from a member last year. What a difference it makes, feels and sound much nicer. Still haven't been on the highway yet so we'll see. Also used a mobile tire service, mounted everything up right in my driveway!

I'll most likely list the old wheels later if anyone is interested. They've got 150k on them so could be good for spare tire(s) or refurbishing.
I walked past it to shovel the driveway, but today is the 5 year anniversary of my M3. The warranty officially died today.
Finally got around to installing my Eventuri plenum. Broke my air temperature sensor during my previous attempt, and had to order a new one.

EuroConnex FEELER: Evolve's E-Tronic Valved Rear Exhaust System

This might be making a comeback - very soon.

Link:https://euroconnex.co/collections/e9x-m3/products/e9x-m3-e-tronic-rear-exhaust-system

Arguably the most well engineered valve exhaust system ever made for the E9X M3.

Gained power with valves closed with OEM like sound, and madness when opened - the ultimate all-in-one exhaust.

The jigs were found at Supersprint and I'm chatting with Imran to do a limited production run.

It will be now or never.

It retailed at 3,600$ back in 2011. We'll be getting it for much less, if enough of us want it.

Amazing! What’s your initial thoughts? I’ve had mine on order for about 6 weeks, they said 12 week wait so half way!

Did you go plenum only or full kit?

I had that super sprint exhaust without the valves though. It was a quality piece and hand made in Italy! You should link Imrans tour around the SS factory to your group buy.

That's a great idea - will do on Official thread.
