I am on the fence with this oil cooler...A few questions, what year is your M and did you have to shorten the oil line (Or is that only on the early 08 cars), did you order from them (How long was shipping). It looks like a simple install, I am concerned with my ess IC placement right in front of this

My car is an '08 (06/08 Build Date).
So far it seems to have all of the later model bits, PS belt routes under the pulley, center hole in the idler pulley.
I didn't have to touch the oil lines, but do88 supplies all the bits and oil line modification instructions, so their kit is intended to fit everyone.

Derbo turned me on to Leddy Motorsports, and that's who I ordered from. They were less expensive then do88 and it got here in less than a week.

You are 100% correct to be concerned about fitment with an IC.
I'm only familiar with the G-Power IC and it was a TIGHT fit.
My emotions were Incredible Hulk on install, but Dr Bruce Banner after I finally got it all buttoned up and made my post.

Managed to extract two rear subframe bushings. There are other two remaining.

Never heard rear getting replaced ....

Another thing to the list ....

Is it noticeable once worn down ? Any known symptoms?

Had it lowered so that we could lore easily polish the roof. Oh well, the dust shields are easy to bend back into place. The car is looking awesome. Ready for graphene coating tomorrow.

I thought quick jacks has safeties so it wouldn’t go down. No?

They do. They work great. But we had it lowered below the safety to make it easier to reach the roof. Lesson learned.

Some say you'll have much wheel hop due to subframe deflection under hard acceleration from stop. Others say you don't feel the need until you have them installed, because the car gets so much more "floor" and grip in turns.

My case is the wheel hop. I'll see if this gets rid of it.

By the way, IRC, E92 GTS and F8X have them.

And zero NVH.

Can't say the same for the diff bushings.

Just dropped it off for the rod bearings. I still need to do some research but I'll ask here too. Is there any special care that needs to be taken after the bearings are done? Like a break-in period or anything? Or do I just go right back to normal (hard) driving?

No break-in period as advised by Malek at MRF when he did mine. Try to change the oil after 1-2k miles.

removed the Vorsteiner GTS-V front splitter that is in excellent condition 9/10 cosmetically and 9/10 structurally that I will be selling. (quick link on facebook M3 group)

Took it out of the garage for the first time since paint correction and graphene coating. She does look good!!

If you have a buddy, it is easily done in 2 light days. We are doing 3 cars over 3 weekends. We started with the easiest to learn. Next up is a silver 2002 E46 M3. Finally we will be doing a black 2008 Cayman S which has not seen any love in its life. Ever...
