Getting another car ready for coating tomorrow.

I did the Adam's graphene spray coating last week and yesterday was my first time taking the car out in the rain. It was neat watching the water sliding off the car as I was driving. Generally the car looks cleaner after a week of driving than it normally would have been, and after coating the wheels I feel like there's less brake dust accumulation as well. The paint seems to have a glassy feeling to it as well.

We'll see how long the spray lasts. I'll be happy with 6 months to a year, since reapplying is stupidly easy and I only needed about 1/3 the bottle to do 2 coats of the whole car.

I didn't but I definitely should have. A day after the application on a cloudy day I could ever so slightly see smears of the coating that weren't fully buffed out. Had to reapply some coating over the imperfections then re-remove the coating to get them out.

Thinking the UV light would've helped me catch that during the initial install.

I was stuck in the house today so I found something to paint. I think I may do it again all black. I will install it and see how it looks.

^ damn. You really soaked them. I would wait 2-3 days. I only waited 1 and didn't notice any difference. I also didn't use nearly as much oil as you did.

im doing 3 days and have a space heater maintaining the interior temp around 90 degrees for 12 hours a day.

those seats are SOAKED



finally replaced my battery after months of knowing that it was on its last legs
BMW just can't give us easy access to anything huh?
i had to fiddle with the brackets and covers and all kinds of wires
and then wrestle that battery out of there at an awkward angle
but at least it's finally done

i registered the new battery with bimmerlink
i hope it did the job
