Today, I got the ol' girl wrapped, replaced all the plastic black bits to make them look fresh again, and added a rear diffuser. Now I need extended tips apparently so I don't melt the diffuser.
Interesting color! Looks clean!

I am in the same situation, as I was wanting to get a diffuser but the tips on my MPE v2 do not extend much beyond the bumper and all the diffusers I have seen add another inch or so. I am sure it would ruin the CF in short order.

Bought my zcp e90 m3 6MT with 50k miles on the clock for only 30k... Looking back now I scored one hell of a deal and I didn't even know it at the time

Edit: I aquired the car 4 years ago
very good deal
and yes, you're not going to find a deal like that today

I got the Arkym Style diffuser from RW Carbon and fitment isn't perfect, I'd say 70% with a bit of work to get there.

Bummer I was considering that one too.:mad0260:

Wow that looks awesome! I've been toying with the idea of a wrap but just can't decide on a color

Am I the only one that thinks the interior looks far more dated without the iDrive screen? Adding CarPlay just seals the deal.
I'm one of the few likely that prefers the no iDrive dash... navigation and car technology quickly gets old. I would do an iDrive dash delete but it would more of a headache than anything.

Got called the N word in my M when I decided to take a nice Sunday evening drive (somwhere around Pasadena, MD for any DMV locals) and was cut off aggressively by some dude in a pickup truck in front of me. Assuming he didn't see me coming I drove around him. He then proceeded to tailgate me for about a mile or two on the highway. Being the troll I am I figured if this fucker wants to tailgate me I might as well go 15 MPH on the freeway until he gets bored or overcome with emotion. (He leaned towards the latter, very emotional man.)

Well as we both exited the highway onto a residential street he decided to speed up in-front of me and cut me off again. This time slamming on the breaks in an attempt to make me crash into the back of him. Luckily I swerved and avoided him then got in-front of him to avoid another attempt.

We then pulled up next to each-other at the following light which is when it got interesting.

He pulled up beside me and blurted out "You f**king N****r".

As soon as he said that I laughed to myself and pulled out my camera. Of course he then refused to repeat what he had just said. Kicking myself for not pulling the camera out earlier.. Though I attempted to bait him into saying it again, he avoided it but made some more comments then drove off after he noticed I filmed his MHIC. Like a true "pussy"..

Here's the video (link below) of the interaction along with some good info on his company posted all over his dusty ass truck.

There has been some talks on her about dash cams. Might be a good idea to purchase one had I had the misfortune of not missing him when he cut me off, twice, I may be SOL and/or in jail for stomping this bitches head off the pavement.
Sorry you had to go through that but glad you made it out safely. F*** cretins like that, sad excuse of a human.

Yeah, it took me a bit to decide. One of the things that helped was ordering samples from Metro Restyling. I took these samples and put them all around the car and quickly eliminated a few. When I had it down to a couple I'd direct compare and get input before making a decision.

One of the things I did as well was test fingernails or other abrasions to see how the colors and finishes handled them. Some "self-healed" while others maintained the marks.

I also got quotes for my top three and one was eliminated immediately because it was 2x the price of the others.
Drove to the store and saw this, and for once I didn't take a picture of my car instead I took a proper ass shot of this monster

WOW, what an insane badass car! Insurance likely cost more than my car, LOL! Damn, I am poor....

I am searching a perfect fitment one but no lucky...

It's subjective, I guess. For me, having a GameGear strapped to my dash felt dated; I feel ilke the clean lines and simplicity will age better. I debated one of the Android retrofits, but my car had an old CCC, and wireless AA isn't offered. Having my phone in my snazzy new center cupholder will be good enough :)

It seemed like a pretty daunting task, but it's actually one of the easier DIY projects I've done. It was basically just a series of tiny jobs. Just took my time so as not to break any trim or clips, and kept the screws and parts organized as I went. Took me a long afternoon to finish, including the coding. I say go for it! :)
Changed all 8 coils and hunting down a boost/vac leak.

Honestly, I wouldn't have egged him on, so many crazy people in this world you just never know who you are messing with and if that person has had enough bad days and they are ready to snap and do something as crazy as kill someone. I would've just minded my own business and got as far away as possible from him. The world is a scary place.. be safe man
Yeah I use to get mad at situations like this but I now assume the other party is suffering from some kind of mental illness, then I feel sorry for them, move far away and just go about my business. ;)
New pads, rotors, all fluids, and spark plugs. She’s running great!
Sorry, going to throw in non-M3 story but still BMW related. Had a friendly reminder of why I hate dealerships yesterday. Took the X7 in for service because the tailgate wasn't working correctly and the RR tire keeps on constantly leaking air. The car was purchased new in January and this is the second time the tailgate has failed and the second time the RR needed to be filled with air. Asked the SA to evaluate both...

Off the bat the SA says, tires leak all the time, its probably normal, despite me saying this is the second time i've had to refill since January. I then ask for a loaner vehicle, SA: "Did you make a reservation?". No... I called yesterday to make the appointment and explicitly asked if I need to make a reservation and was told no I dont. SA: "Well, we may not have any vehicles left but let's check". Eventually I get a vehicle but he had to hassle the individuals in charge of loaners.

The next day I finally get an update on the vehicle, the tailgate actuator needs to be replaced and that there is a small hole in the tire, SA: "it'll be $636 to replace, mount, and balance." I ask if plugging is possible, SA: "no not possible". I ask if the tire has manufacturer warranty on it, SA: "you'd have to check with the manufacturer, they will likely tell you to speak with one of their authorized distributors." Fine, thank you for the update...

I call a nearby America's Tire whom ive always had great service from and they said they can plug the tire no problem despite it being a RFT at no charge. Great, nice to have that as an option.

I call Pirelli and ask about the manufacturer warranty and they said I just need to go to an authorized distributor and they will take care of the tire under warranty. I ask for a list of nearby authorized distributors, of course the dealership I took it to is one of them...

I call the SA back and told them they are an authorized distributor, he is befuddled, says he will speak with the tire manager to confirm. Several hours later I get a call from the SA: "We spoke with Pirelli, they say we aren't an authorized distributors, but they told you we are, so we will just give you the tire complimentary".

I'm just rolling my eyes at this point. Annoyed at the incompetence and bs. Stealerships dont give anything away "complementary". Don't give me some dumb story to try to "surprise and delight", just get the job done and give me my vehicle back.

Side note: We received an X5 loaner. Very happy we went with the larger vehicle (X7) because with two kids, the X5 is not spacious and definitely not any more spacious then our prior car (Mazda CX-5), which we were cramped in and couldn't wait to give back at lease end.

Drove my car to take photos of my other car. A nice 2000 E39 540i with all the Dinan goodies, including a supercharger.

Unfortunately EXACTLY the way the local dealer here acts as well. What are they, trained in the same institute globally??

I must be lucky with BMW of San Francisco. I often purchase parts from them because they beat almost any online retailer in price. And the other day when I went to pick up a new transmission oil pan and filter, I was able to pull aside the shop manager to answer a few questions I had about the job since I was having some difficulties. Later in the conversation I brought up that I was having my rod bearings done down in LA next week. He actually offered to save me the drive down and to do the bearings at the dealership for 2 grand! I honestly really wanted to take him up on the offer but I had already made a deposit. One of the chillest BMW employees I've ever met.

That being said, the dealer that's closer to me, is full of a**holes. I think BMW of SF is an exception.
Disappointed day at the Dyno.....had a boost leak! Tunner had this 3 rotor gem! This RX7 was kleeen!
