Nope, I ordered 8 from NGK, and 2 from rock auto for back ups

I've been suspecting a boost leak for a little while now but can't figure out if it's just reading incorrectly.

Replaced a bunch of parts and the last thing to do is dyno the car. It pulls hard so I'm hoping the gauge is wrong.

With this set up its not too many places you can lose boost. I did notice after taking off my hood strut so that I could stand on the plenum it went down and made a thump. To be honest, I don't think it was ever seated correctly until now. I also noticed one of the 8 rubber boots was deformed a lil so I am sure I was losing air at that point. I used an endoscope to find the bad rubber boot.

The manifold should not require much force in my experience. Make sure those clamps are nice and loose and it falls into place very easily.

Mine fall into place, they just never "pop" in like they do when you install the N/A plenum.

I'm going to replace them anyway because I'm weary of the way the manifold sits. The bottom of the velocity stack doesn't sit flush with the rubber boots.

Did I say "Pop" if I did I meant to say it was a "Thump" when they were all in place. If you replace your boots let me know what tool you use for the ear clamps at the bottom of the boot (Need a link if you buy one). I used a hose clamp on one, but want to use the OE clamps

Had my rod bearings and motor mounts done today at 104,000KM. They look pretty rough. Glad I got it done!

Went for a quick drive to get some treats at the bakery for family, however, almost killed an idiot on a motorcycle who tried to split me and a minivan who I was in the process of passing at 50 mph and minivan was traveling about 45ish...in a 45 mph zone....and idiot biker goes between us doing a Ffffing wheelie over 70 plus!!!....SMH I had to go over the double yellow line by at least 3 feet...or else it would be fatal!!! Luckily on-coming traffic saw what was going on;and made room for me!! Crazy people these days on motorcycles !!! Be safe everyone and Happy motoring. I'm just glad I am able to share what happen from a scary experience ... Boy was my blood boiling!!! I was very close to chasing the idiot down and report him to the police but realize that my kids are waiting for dear old dad at home and decided to let it go.

Out with the old and in with the new….

It seems that in California this is considered normal and no one seems concerned when motorcycles drive down the lines between lanes. On my way back from picking up my car I must have seen it 2 dozen times in just the first 50 miles on the way out of LA. Crazy. Darwin at play there....

I had gone and filled the tank, not because of any gas fears other than Friday I have to get the car inspected at the closest BMW dealer which is like 50 minutes away one way. Didn't want to worry about it with all the crazies out there.

It's called lane splitting. It's legal in CA. I used to ride a vintage Harley. My style
bike was called a lane splitter. Super skinny and maneuverable.

It's dumb to split lanes. It's already dangerous being on a bike. Lane splitting accelerates this.

Crazy dude was doing it in OH. Especially while stunting. But sounds about ride for a stunt biker or enduro.

What we need here in CA is a dedicated motorcycle lane near the median.

I don't ride my bike anymore people there's just too many people on the 405 now a days. No one is paying attention, everyone is on their phone, and double lines don't mean shit to impatient people riding solo in the carpool.

bad idea
all the junk that falls off cars will end up collecting near the median and you'll end up with a bunch of motorcycles crashing due to the debris littering the "bike lane"

Regardless of where it's put, we need a dedicated lane.

Motorcyclists are crashing now to drivers who don't pay attention.

I get it, that an experience biker with a fast and skinny motorcycle can easily passed in between in an instant, but to do it doing a wheelie/!!! will end their own life in an instant and endanger everyone around us.....sometimes that one mistake can be life changing and a Big REGRET; if they end up surviving and to live with the multitude of guilt and consequences that results from it. No Bueno.

I got tired of cleaning them out after my second set, just went with durable Weather tech Matts for my car. Do miss the M logo though.

Added a new M Performance wheel and alcantara trim, still waiting on my matching e-brake boot/handle and shift boot. Also replaced the CIC trim ring. Almost done with my cosmetic mods
