Everyone's cars blew up from rod bearing failure

I changed my rod bearings preventatively in 2014 at 60k miles when the CPO warranty expired so my Jerez Black E90 is still doing fine. I think the issue is more that this subforum is not very active. The kids are on Instagram or Facebook or whatever.

Saw a nice red E92 on Revere Beach yesterday.

I've been seeing a twin to my M3 lately. Around the Newton/Watertown area.

At the Auto Show in Boston on Saturday as I was leaving I saw 3 E92's coming in together. One Gray, one dark Blue/Black and a white one.

Saw a twin of my car(or maybe Lemans blue) but a convertible on Sunday in downtown Newburyport with out of state plates. Could not tell what state.
Best part - Woman driver and passenger! I've never seen a woman behind the wheel of one of these. It was a really cool site!
I wish I had stopped to get some pics but I thought of that after....

My e92 was owned by a 55 yr old woman. She told me she never once used the paddles. 100% stock. Car has 45k miles and the plugs look new. Win!

This past Monday I saw a track ready e90 (lowered with 18s" in Medford.

Spotted a beautiful IB E92 in Hooksett, NH

Anybody know this car? Parked next to it today in Winchester. Dinan exhaust with the 219m wheels.

Spotted a gray E92 M3, with cf lip - looked like maybe an exhaust as well.

Car looked clean! Made me miss my old one!

I've seen that e90 in Winchester (next town over from me) a few times.

The only thing I miss about my F80 was the extra space.

Spotted a clean lowered white e92 on 95N around Burlington. Headlights looks amazing.

Saw my first other M3 since moving here. Space grey E93 near Assembly Row in Somerville

Not too many around. I usually see 1 every few months. Not many drive them year round, during the winter they are a rare site.

Black E92 near Fresh Pond Reservation

Spotted this beauty in Tewksbury, right around the corner from my job.

Silver E92 on Route 60 in Revere on Sunday afternoon. You beeped and then gave me a rev. Exhaust sounded sweet!

White E90 in Union Square. Looked great with the ZCP rims.

Lowered black e92 on Main Street, Stoneham with a very loud exhaust. Sounded awesome.
