Surprised to find an old rodents nest made out of bubble wrap underneath the left headlight. At least he had the courtesy of using bubble wrap and protecting the car.

CTMike wroteI have had to replace that piece on both sides, different occasions. I found them cheapest on Amazon. They were not painted and the clips are sold separately. The install is not hard at all, just be careful not to break the ears on the new one.Took it down to NJ and back to visit family this weekend. Drove great, enjoyed some top down time. Had about a 4 hour ride back to CT so was putting top back in to closed position… right part of the roof isn't latching. Tried a couple of times, no luck. Get out and check what's going on… the plastic and clips under right rear roof molding/trip was all broken and the retaining springs were every which way. The actual molding piece came right off in to my hand. Ffffff… I managed to keep the springs out of the way and close the hard top all the way for the ride home, but it appears I need part number 54377184038… hopefully just that part and associated clips, and hopefully in Jerez Black Metallic… might need to get the whole trim set though if I can't find it. Hooray! And TBD on how to install it

Here you go. Be careful the pieces over the HVAC and CIC/CCC can be different depending on car options, like if you have that lower strip of buttons for sun shades or whatever. Check part number in below links. Best to start over with your model year just in case, and make sure you select the correct COLOR trim.

One good thing about this pandemic was no waking up early to wait in line or to show up in person. All I had to do was send in the signed title, fill out the new Wisconsin title and registration forms as well as for the special/custom plate forms. Then obviously the payment.
My parents still living in Wisconsin, sent my plates out to SoCal where I'm at. Now I don't have to pay the expensive yearly registration and no bi-yearly smog.
