I just helped a buddy install this on his 2013, and we can't get the throttle to blip at all. It's reading the signal from both brake and clutch flawlessly but with every calibration the blip led flashes (indicating an issue & a failed calibration). There most likely is truth to what you said regarding a change in pedal electronics, but a work around is probably out there. I'll update this thread if I can find a solution.

If anyone else has this installed on a year model 2009 or later without issue, please feel free to chime in as to what resolved your throttle issue.
Just tried installing on my 2007 E90 335i as well and got the same issue. Doesn’t seem like the ecu likes the difference between pedal position and expected voltage.

Pretty curious to see how anyone got this to work on an E9X car.

Did you follow the instructions and calibrate It after install?

Yeah, even tried twice. Once complete with calibration steps, my “blip” light flashes, indicating an error.

Brake and clutch indicators / function work perfectly
Just wanted to say this guide was super helpful. Had mine setup within an hour and all calibrated. One of the biggest selling points for me on these is the option to have on/off so I only really use on track. I’m set at minimal delay and around 12oclock duration, works so well for some tighter cornering going from 4th down through to 2nd gear. I’d say the most challenging part of install was tapping into the clutch wires as not a lot of space behind there. So glad I bought one of these. Build date on my m3 is May 2007 for info.
Has anyone gotten it to work on a 2010 or newer e90 328I

Haven’t done it but according to auto-blip, you just need replace the pedal with one from a 2008 or earlier

At least for the m3, the wiring harnesses were different on my 2011 pedal and the 2008 or earlier part I acquired. So while it may be true, it’s not a plug and play swap to the older pedal tech.
Yea this thing is a bit gimicky , installed mine yesterday. The installation instructions are a little wacky as well. You can either follow it, or follow this thread that is posted in the guide.

I ran into problems during calibration, blip light would blink indicating error with throttle pedal. Car went into limp mode right away too. Called support, they were very nice and patient but went down a road blaming poor grounding when in fact it was my throttle wires. User error. The manual talks about calibrating for analog or digital signals so it's not really tailored for our cars. I digress as that doesn't seem to really matter after everything.

Trying it around town it may not be worth using on the street, but maybe on the track. Comments in this thread talk about how it RPM matches or blips based on RPM - none of that is true. It has no CAN integration and has zero idea on how fast you or the engine are going, it simply monitors brake and clutch and then blips the throttle according to your dial settings. So, if you are coming to a stop, throw the car in neutral, the car will blip the throttle at a stop light lol. Feels weird. I also notice that I have a habit of downshifting w/out using my brake and just engine braking, so it will not blip on those occasions either.

I installed mine in the box behind the e-brake. The wire was just long enough, but I had to extend the throttle wire as for some reason the one it comes with is super short and the throttle wire is way down low near the peddle.
Did you guys look into the Xingeering version?
