Take the plates off it maybe?
Funny enough all the pictures that were sent already had plates off the car. I take em off at each event just because haha. But yeah even with no plates apparently that wasn't enough.

Pretty sure you could use fiver or whatever those freelance sites are and get it photoshopped nicely for $5-10 maybe?

Purchased a tune on BF sale and im getting requested to prove the car is for off road track only use with pictures of it on a trailer etc. Anyone have any inputs on this? Out of respect I don't want to blast the vendor name but they're a big one.
This is unfortunately the reality with the current EPA. They're going after anyone they can (shops, tuners, manufacturers) and the fines can be ridiculous.

You have a month to get it together.
I'll help you.

Same, I'll drive up with beers, but not sure how helpful I'd be around you two.

I blame the trucks rolling coal and the companies supporting that nonsense. If it wasn't for them, as they seemed to be the first major targets, this EPA crackdown wouldn't be happening.

Having not bought normal "street" brake pads in many years, can anyone provide some suggestions on a reasonable pad? This is for the new DD and I'm thinking ceramic is probably the best bet since it creates the lighter colored dust that you don't see. Whatever the OEM pads are.....they create an absurd amount of ugly orange dust.

I see Hawk and Centric both have a cheap ceramic street pad but wasn't sure who else is worth looking at.
I have had great results with Akebono ceramic pads on the daily drivers. Low, low dust. Sacrifice is less initial bite, but after a couple stops you get used to it and adjust.

Nice! sounds like a lot of us will be there.

Should we get a Caravan going? meet up point?

I'm coming from Santa Clara
Did SpeedSF stop doing the free photos? Haven't seen any from last weekend.

It's a nearly 3 hour drive from Davis, so I usually get a room close by the night before.

Younger Chris would have just gotten up at 4:00am and drive down the morning of, because he had more energy than money.
Older Chris has less energy, but more money.
Anyone in the Dallas area happen to have 2 Hoosier A7 275/35/18 I can come buy tonight? :)

Photos from the 27th are up, but not the 28th yet. Don't know if 28th was CaliPhotography - I'm guessing it was still Ryan (that link above)

I'll be at Thunderhill East 12/11-12... hoping to run a 1:56 bypass and 1:58 cyclone. We'll see! Have a set of brand new RC1 R2 tires to run.

Ryan was there on the 28th as well. :)
Sweet - then give him some time to upload :)
