No rubbing!
Yo! She is thick up front and back!
Posted in the DIY thread but not much activity. In the next week or two I am going to do motor mounts. Have everything ready to roll but just wanted to check the following out:

This looks right for when I drop the K frame a little, correct? I'm a visual learner and all the youtube videos aren't super clear.

Thanks in advance

It appears that I am getting a small amount of rubbing in the front on the rear fender liner. If you are running a stock size 10" m359 wheel (19x10 +25), I'd like to hear from you. I'm suspecting I may need to step down to a 265/30 from a 275/30, but would like to collect some real world data before making a change.
Had some horrid humming and vibrations with a certain "v3" carbon driveshaft, so I ripped it out and had this YFCM shaft installed in its place. Took it to 110MPH with zero issues.

Yeah those be the bolts to back out, if memory serves correct I had to back them out almost all the way to get the mounts in and out, definitely a lot lower than I anticipated.

Thank you! That is what I am reading. Worried about backing them out too much lol.

My friend helped me changed my engine mounts recently. His method was with 1 bolt at a time, remove the bolt and turn them back in by hand. This way he know for sure the sub-frame won't drop out completely. No issues with alignment afterwards.

Was just gonna mention that. Did the same thing. Worst case scenario it just drops a little more then hangs there
Took my sister to pick up her X3 M40i. It only took 25 days to make and deliver. I picked out all the goodies and she paid for it!

Nice. I had a x3 m40i as a loaner a couple of years ago. Shockingly fast for what it is.
Installed Bmw carbon splitters
Went on a cruise with the friends
Helped a friend remove valve covers :drink:

I had a P3 and it was cool, I just didn't like the glare it put on the window when I needed to look at the side view mirror.
I have since installed this and it gives me all the information on one screen. It also has an input to measure what you like. This one is made by WEngineering. It also let's you set warnings ....like IAT's, temp etc. Reads and clear codes, it's a cool display
Man, I could never give up that AC vent. Nice though.
The battery charge light illuminated. Changed it out and reprogrammed it.

Man I tried but I couldn’t get the old mounts out. Passenger side was pretty close but still couldn’t quite pry it out. Had bolts backed out until there was a thread or two hanging and engine lifted about as high as I could get it. Drivers side didn’t even look close to being able to wiggle out. Good news is the current mounts seem okay? No cracks or leaks.

They are a pain, no doubt. When I did mine I had the engine pulled up just as far as I could, the trans was touching the body at the firewall. Still had to do a bit of jockeying. And yes, those look perfectly fine anyway.
