Hi everyone , i have a 2008 E93 M3 with a 6MT, i am thinking about replacing my M3 for a 2015 F-type v6-s convertable , i love my M3 but i like the looks of the Jag better , my concern is money wise , my M3 is worth 10k more on the market now because of the Covid , on the long run , do you think the m3 is going to keep it's value compared to the Jaguar .

tanks for your opinion's
M3 will hold is value much better no doubt
M3 will definitely hold it's value better and also not sure about being able to pocket 10k, tax will eat some of that unless you trade in and then trade in will eat even more. Unless you have low miles or rare spec M3 or go high miles jag, it will be hard to pocket much of anything in general terms imo.

In summary, I wouldn't do it if I was you. If you want a switch get an 09+ 911 but prices are crazy right now there too.
Financially the M3 does make more sense but at the same time I don't think we're talking life changing money here. My thing is you only live once and you want to experience the F-type go for it! I personally love the way the Jags look.

Make sure to ask this in the Jag forums so you can be sure to get two biased opinions 😹
Keep your M3, handles better holds value better, 2 extra seats and the last M3 with a v8. Don't do something you'll regret! Rent the jag for a few days
I drove the F Type many times courtesy of Jaguar. I love the way the car looks, drives and sounds.

That said, I would go for the V8 R or SVR coupe. Not a fan of convertibles and I feel the V8 is a must.
I wouldnt trade for a V6 jag, I do LOVE the way they look, but they don't hold value as well and the V6's will be at the bottom.

I have thought about this as well, but I would rather have the 911, and its nice that the M3 has a backseat.
