Your kidding right? The new M3 comes with a CF hood at no charge, theres a option for sunroof. Are you sure you bought a E92 M3 and not a E46?

CF Hood you can go check out vorsteiner, they got one that is a M3 rep but its def. not as nice as OEM.
FifthStreetz wroteVorsteiner hasnt come up with one for M3 yet i dont think. they have one for non-m which cancels the hood vents. no goodhaha yea thats what i meant.

wow 7 G's???!!! I really don't how those people make money by selling such expensive items( "unecessary" items )
On top of that Im willing to bet that if you add it to you M3, it will totally f*** up the nice contrast that exist between the CF roof and the aluminium Hood, it will be too much.

it'll lower the COG by an inch and make it handle like crazy.

I see the CF hood just for nice looking, not for some gram gains
If somebody makes an Ericsson-style cf vented hood I'd be down for that...as long as it doesn't cost anywhere near $6k+ & the fitment is great! First thing I'd do is get it painted oem exterior & leave parts of the cf hood exposed (w/clearcoat on top obviously). I don't know about anywhere else but here in Texas summer heat it makes a difference w/additional vents on the hood. Back then when I had a Honda S2000, I bought a vented hood (J's Racing) & it made a noticeable difference in the summer time. Less sluggish, etc. due to vents letting hot-air come out. Just don't drive in the rain unless the hood has rain channels (Like Mugen)!
J08M3 wroteit was a joke. i just feel that the carbon fiber roof is more gimmicky than anything else, would have rather had the money invested in better brakes.Where do you get this from?
